Seems like the Supplement forum is the same question over and over again, everyone is asking the same question about NO-Xplode, now it's good they are seeking information on the product, but maybe some repetitive threads about NO-Xplode could be deleted? Letting the users know the same question was posted 2 threads ago? Maybe encourage them to use the Search box a little more? I don't know just seems like the NO-Xplode questions are flooding the supplement forum and people who have legit questions about other supplements are getting looked past.

A better method of posting a supplement question might help... For example: 1 - Help Me! NO work? 2 - BSN NO Explode It may help organized all posts under a single thread and it would make it a million times easier to find and read 'opinions' on this stuff. Sort of a posting guideline?

Better yet, maybe we can get BSN to cough up a little somethin' for all the free advertizing they get here? OR, we could make it like a drinking game. Every time someone starts another NO-XPlode thread, you have to crank out ten squats

How about a subsection in supplements with stickies for specific and popular supps such as NO-Xplode, XCEED, and so on. So, a NO-Xplode thread, a XCEED thread, and so on. Then you can just delete all the other random postings and have everyone just read thru those threads and post any new questions on them.

I think part of the problem is that the built in search for the forum software is braindead (and this is true of pretty much all web forum software). It won't let you search for words with less than five letters, and seems to hate hyphenated words too. It might be more useful to stick a Google search box in the top of the page. Google (AKA Skynet) is able to effortlessly handle spelling errors, variations and plurals. And it can be set up with adwords to bring in a little extra revenue for the site too.

ORIGINAL: Carrhart Give NO-Xplode it's own little section?? Well, what I was trying to describe would be a sticky thread at the top of supplements that could be called something like "Popular Products"... anyway, it would look like: Popular Products > NO-Xplode > Xceed > and so on... so.. the no-xplode thread would be the place to research and ask all questions for no-xplode. It could even be broken up by type of product first Popular Products > Protein - directory for brands > Fat burners - directory for those > Creatine - you get the idea :p then, for supplements, you will not have to search, you can just read everything on the 1 no-xplode or the 1 xceed thread.

All of these are great ideas. I was personally going to recommend that if anyone can find a really informative post about NO XPlode we could just make it a sticky, that way everyone would post there questions there. The idea to make different sub forums for certain popular supplements is all well and good, but it's also a profit chip that could be cashed in on, and I don't think the point of this forum is to promote any single supplement. I admit that what I already suggested would be doing just that, but only because it's absolutely necessary. My final suggestion is that either an informative NO-Xplode post be found or written and then posted as a sticky, just to cordon off all the NO Xplode questions from the rest of the forum.

This means.. there would need to be a forum category created for Supplements and then it gets broken down into forums and sub-forums. Rather then a single forum like it is now.. it would need to be an entire category.

Umm... how are we making money off of you? If we (Marc and I) want to pay $1,995 per year to Google we can ad search to our site ad free (which will only search 50,000 documents). Otherwise, we can use Googles free version which does show ads. Either we pay (Marc and I lose even more money on this forum) to get search without ads, or we don't pay and you can easily avoid the ads. As always, just click on "Advanced Search" if you don't want to use Google search.

Kris? I never even knew you existed. You guys should put a donate option (paypal) on the site.. I'd donate.

Hopefully there's just a way to see all of the directories from the main page and you can just select and many threads as you want and move them with the click of a button. It would make it a lot easier to move everything related to a single topic. Another thought: maybe it's time to start deleting some threads. If you want to condense the amount of NO-Xplode threads asking about the flavor or whatever, you can easily delete them all. They're bound to return eventually :P

I've also noticed that everyone asking about the NO Xplode questions are usually begginer posters. Also assuming they are new to working out and NO-Xplode was recommended by a friend or athlete or something. Seems as though BSN does a heck of a job marketing.
