Leg=test=Allround gain - Friday, July 27, 2007 9:30 PM ( #1 )
ive read somewhere that working out legs would release testosterone and that would help get overall gains easier.

do you workout legs and have more testosterone in ur body for ever or do u workout ur legs and then workout other body part? i dont get it

It increases the amount of growth hormone naturally released into the body. Growth hormone and testosterone are different, you can get a good test spike just by getting a boner.

I don't quite understand your question.
The Squat movement is responsible for the extra beneficial release of growth hormone.
But of course you should workout your entire body once a week, but only the Squats, and I think Deadlifts, will release that growth hormone.

EDIT: This is just what I've gathered from lurking around those threads that Bobbi just mentioned. I'm pretty damn sure that it's correct but if someone finds a flaw in my words then please point it out.

Have never seen studies on this.

I have seen studies that show higher rep ranges (10 reps), comapred to lower reps (5-6 reps) showing a much greater increase in testosterone and HGH release in trainers
