I honestly don't know about the body fat % guesstimate; could be anywhere from 9% to 12%, maybe higher. We all tend to focus on subcutaneous body fat and the muscle definition it obscures, but you could just as easily be a skinny guy with a LOT of fat around your internal organs. Obviously, that's not going to show up on a skin fold caliper.
I've never heard that bit about bulky legs. Frankly, it sounds like an excuse some people use to avoid blasting them. But think about it for a second: if you have big legs already, why would you pass up such a golden source of anabolic stimulus? I've noticed the same thing about my own quads and hams -they responded better to this phase of training than just about everything else combined, but I'm not going to let that dictate how much (or how little) I train them going forward.
Trust me, you're not going to grow a disproportionate or unbalanced physique if you're truly hitting everything with the right intensity. The lagging areas will come up to par, and yes, your legs may dominate the presentation for a little while. But between being top-heavy and bottom-heavy, the former is far more noticeable as a developmental flaw than the latter. I've never heard anyone badmouth a builder for having legs like whiskey barrels, or working his legs too much. They're far more likely to bust on a guy for overworking his upper body and neglecting his legs. Or, as JMBS would put it, the "potato on pencils" look
