Lateral Shoulder Raise question - Sunday, June 29, 2008 5:43 PM
For the lateral shoulder raises i have seen 2 forms. Some people raise their hands at the sides without bending their elbows and others do lateral raises with elbow bent in a 90 degree form. Which excersice should i do?

keep the arms slighlty bent but locked, and imagine when holding the dumbbells, that they are cans and you are trying to pour them out in front of you.  So the fronts are angled down slightly

one is a side lateral raise, the other is an L-lateral raise.  they both work fine, i like L-laterals just because i can use more weight. the stimulus on the delts is basically the same
