your legs seem to be programmed to the arms or something it's weird... my arms did not grow until I did heavy squats!  the last cut I had synthol in my triceps Yet was the only person to know that..  So they expanded my arms to 16 1/4 - 16 1/2 inches.. but they always shrank..  This last bulk I had 17 1/4 inch arms.. Now I have 16 3/4 inch arms and I don't weigh that much.   I squat alot of weight though.. Way more then I bench now. which was the deciding factor for a long time.

Testosterone is releasing during squatting, putting anabolic hormones in your blood which is pumped into your arms when you work your arms enhancing growth. Adding inches to your arms is about gaining weight and heavy squatting puts weight on you

mvp,
Does the test released via squats stay in the system long, or do you have to do upper body isolation same workout?  Will the squats help w/a next day upper body workout?

Testosterone levels (post-squatting) dissipate back to normal, or slightly above normal levels anywhere from a few hours to a few days after squatting. Of course the volume, intensity and frequency of the workouts would determine how long the anabolic hormones are present in the body.

MVP,

Is the high test limited to squats?  I'm doing a 4day split now so w/rest day am doing squats at most only every 5 days.  I do hams (deadlifts) 2 days before the squats.  Do deads ramp up the test too?  Should I throw in a couple low-weight high-rep squat sets on my ham day to keep the test on board elevated more of the time?  Thanks!

Deadlifts aren't hamstring dominant, during a deadlift, hamstrings are eccentric stabilizers. Hamstrings response as the concentric movers to two movements - extension of the hips / flexsion at the knee. Same thing goes from squat, the squat is quad dominant while the hamstring is mainly the lower back and glutes. While there is stimulus to the hamstrings, they're just stabilizers.

You can squat (if you feel it's necessary) every workout with adjusted volume and intensity to reap the hormonal benefits. But the only movements that are hamstring dominant, where they would be the concentric movers are hamstring curls and / or stiff-leg deadlifts.

MVP,
I'm sorry, it was late when I wrote my last post.  :(  I meant to say Romanian (stiff legged) deadlifts on my hams day.  With the 4day split, is it okay to do a few squat sets every day or should I limit to every other day.  If I did every day I wouldn't be letting those muscles recover for a heavy leg day to increase my max weight, would I?  I guess I could switch my days around to do my high weight squats after a rest day.  Recall I'm an ectomorph.  I need to tear down the most muscle in the shortest workout, no?  Thanks!

Oh honey, you didn't .....

It is funny you keep talking about how differently you do things from the rest of us... but the one thing you are now on deck with is massive squatting!!!! So you maybe doing things a million ways different, but your finally on board with us about that!....

Yup, heavy squats are amazing.  No one believes it until they actually experience it for themselves.

Man, about the synthol....that's some scary s***.  I personally, have no opposition to juice (dbol, test, etc....).  I wouldn't do it, but I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as the user has sufficiently researched it.  But synthol on the other hand....yikes.  I wouldn't screw with that crap.  That's just garbage.

If you continue allowing your muscles seven days to recuperate, then that's the result you'll always get. You can squat four days during the week, you'll just have to adjust the volume and intensity as necessary in order to continue to recuperate. Your body is still recuperating when you workout, working out with light weight people consider "recovery" but it's not, it's stress in a lighter form.

Stiff-leg deadlifts are fine. They really work the hamstrings to a significant extent. Some sets of squats at the beginning of each workout would actually be beneficial to you. The hormonal benefits alone is phenomenal.

just curious how can they tell that you aren't natural if you took it a while ago; are there signs or what?

lol there are no signs of it.  Seriously you can't tell who has and who hasn't it's all BS.   You just grow faster, the only thing that will change the shape of your muscle / frame would be HGH.   Anyway regardless it takes years of training to have any kind of established physique no matter what you take natural or not.  You also got to know what your going or you will just get fat and by the time you cut you will have no muscle left lol.

Re:Last Cut - 197lbs - - Thursday, July 02, 2009 7:04 PM ( #46 )
Yes I could :)  But I wouldn't because I would be way to small for my weight class..  Ever seen a guy 5'10 or 5'9 around 6 - 7% BF?  With a waist line below 32 inches?  They are Huge!!! way bigger then me..  well about 2 - 3 inches on everything so that's pretty significant.   I would have to be on stage atleast as a heavy weight around 215lbs..  so I have a few years to go before I would ever like to do a show.
