Its not that expensive, so I usually take 5 in the am when I wake up (its anti-catabolic), 5 before workout, if you have a good whey protein it should have a lot for post workout so just use whey then, and then take it 5 before bed.  So 4 times or 3 with a high-glutamine protein shake.

You don't take Glutamine for "what happens", you take it so that things "don't happen".  Your muscles are mainly glutamine, so you need to replace what is burned off during exercises.  Try to think of it like you do water, when you burn it off, you need to replace it, or very bad things can happen to you.

i take it, helps speed up recovery, i dont know personally if i raises gh levels cus i never got my levels tested before and while ive been taking it..but it helps you maintain muscle while cutting(to an extent), and the good thing is when mixed w/ water it doesnt taste bad..theres not taste at all. and as stated before its cheap. try it for yourself.

on a side note its good for intestinal health.

i swear by l-glutamine, i take it before i work out, mix about 10g in water and sip that while i work out, then right after lifting, before cardio, i eat some of the chewable l-glutamine, for the glutamine and sucrose its made of.

i love it, never hurts to add it. comparing it to when i didn't use it, i won't lift without it now :P

I think glutamine does do all that's promised; aid in muscle growth and repair and less fatigue.  One thing I learned recently was that if you take Adderall or Ritalin it can cause major panic attacks and anxiety.  I was experiencing this and did some research.  If you don't have ADD, then rock on with it!
