I wanted to start a thread on my honest opinion of Kre-Alkalyn.
I have just began using as the label recommends, 2 pills per day. I am using on non lifting days, 1 pill in the AM one in the PM, lifting days I will be taking 2 pills pre workout and 1 pill post workout. I will be using for 8 weeks minimum.
FYI I also use 3 scoops day of protein day (135g protein) and glutamine (5g day)
I will update my likes and dislikes about this product as time goes....

Use up the Kre-Alkalyn Creatine take as directed.   When you run out get yourself a good Ethyl Ester Creatine like Muscle Tech CEE Pro or CEX Caplets.  I never tried the CEX Caplets, but they look pretty cool.

Thoughts so far, it is better to take the pills at different times of the day so I dont have to go to the restroom all the time like when I do when I take the 2 pills together. Muscles do seem a bit "softer", and a very little bit of water retention.
I have not noticed any difference at the gym yet.

Here I am in week #3 of this product and I noticed that today's workout weight went up quite considerably (5 and 10 lb respectivly) the weight was easier to lift, and I was able to pump out a few extra reps. Feeling a very nice pump in the chest, bi's, and traps, more so than I have previously.
Feeling huge and I am liking this stuff now, a few days ago I was wondering why I was not noticing any difference, the way everyone raves about creatine, and now I do know why.

PUMPED!!!

i took my kre-alkallyn first thing in the morning when my insulin levels are prime and blood are craving anything they can absorb.
I got HUGE gains of this stuff, better than any other creatine u have used. Better than V12, V2 Swole, about even with Cellmass....but at a fraction of the price.

This is also the brand I use, especialy now that I found out that EFX Kre-Alkalyn is the inventor's original formula/brand. Also, I found a website of the copany who sells this brand the other day that had a cool book you guys should read (free) that confirms my suspicions about the other new creatine stuff like CEE. They aren't real, just regular creatine mono disguised as something else. It's www.aaefx.com (All American EFX). Now the product name makes sense.

In a nutshell, it's the only brand or type of creatine that has ever worked for me. Now I know why. Their book is called Creatine: Industry Insider Secrets." It's a PDf that's 2 megs. Grab it off the left side page link. I have also been emailing back and forth with this company. Only peple I've ever had respond or help me out. I even challenged them on a couple of points in their book and they blew my questions out of the water. It's the real deal. Anyway, that's my 2 cents...OUT!!!

Just so you guys know...Jim Stoppani wrote about this stuff about 5-6 months ago...he is the writer I like from M&F...he wrote that arm workout I keep posting everywhere that is sweet, and he also took the time to write about LEUKIC...this re-affirms my point that I think he knows his stuff.

Is it a good idea to cycle off this stuff? I take kre alkalyn protein, but i take it for like 2 months straight and then get off it for a month to let my body's creatine reservers reach their natural levels (I read somewhere that its advisable to do so). any thoughts?

Or, does it matter if i take creatin for like 6 months straight? I try to rely the least possible on supplements. The only supplement which i've been taking on a regular basis is whey protein.

FYI- I started taking kre-alkalyn creatine a few monts ago and imo I think its the best creatine product i've used so far.

i just went to that EFX website and i saw that it uses "buffering technology" to boost its creatine to 12 on a ph chart. i dont know about y'all but when something is at 12 on a ph chart i dont want that in my body...FAWK, pure ammonia has a ph level of 11 and bleach is 13. makes u wonder what side effects there are that their not tellinSmile

i actually read that whole thing.
#1. big berry sounds like an employee for the company.
#2. the first thing you learn about in advertising is that if your on top, dont mention the competition. its the low man that must question the others and sometimes bash them.
#3 i really believe a study that they paid to have done is going to be unbiased

all in all i fill that my cell mass works just fine and bashing your competition is cowardly.

I like this product enough that I am going to purchace my 2nd bottle today. I have been having some incredible workouts and I seen to be able to push out that 1 more rep that really gets the pump going. For the first time in a very long time I have been able to get my bi's really burning!

I take 2 kre alkalyn pills before my workout as statedin the directions. i know it is beneficial to take creatine after workouts, but would it also be the case for kre-alkalyn? The directions don't say anything about thaking a pill after workouts.

Any thoughts?

Yes modagg, in between my 8-5 as Parts Manager for the local Dodge dealership, I also work for EFX. That's the problem with these boards sometimes. You give mad props to a product or company trying to help someone but you end up getting flamed. I suppose all we shoudl ever do anymore is just say that something is kinda 'good' or kinda 'bad'. F@@king trolls suck!!

So why not email them and ask teh hard questions like I did, bro )it's info@aaefx.com)? Instead of bashing.

Hey, hulio82. These guys also put out a sweet 'User Guide' for their stuff. All I'm saying is there are few companies anymore who ever give help like this. Nuff said.

Gotta go mix the next batch of Met-Rx for my other company now. Then tomorrow it's a GAKIC run for the other guys. lol

At least the PDF proves that this post on CEE is true

But in all truth, while it may be real and valid, it's no more helpful then reading my latest issue of M & F and seeing a 2 page 'advertorial' that talks about facts only to lead me to a product.

This report was "Insider" secrets but fully showcased a product the entire time.

The problem with these boards is that people are doubtful as they should be when given a blatent ad promoting itself as 100% info you need to know.

There's a few reports I've seen, written myself that are 99% info recommending a product.  Heck I wrote the Top 12 Report giving out step by step advice for the beginner AND then recommended my own book.  But the info up to that point is valid and univeral.  I didn't use it to promote my stance that my book was far superior to another.

Anyway...

This report had the intention of providing facts to support that a particular supplement was better then the rest.

I agree that asking the company in question is a good idea.  If they don't or can't answer, that could be a problem.

For all I know it could be better.  But when I browse thru magazines, I'm cautious to understand that companies need to make money in order to survive and they will put a spin on whatever they can to do that.  This "industry" is unregulated.  And you can pretty much make whatever claims you want without any research to back it up.

Funding your own report is not unbiased.

But I like to try supplements and do reviews like anybody else to chime in.  I've not tried this product so while the report doesn't sway me, I'm always intrigued by others experiences and I do like to give things a shot myself and see if I notice anything.

If it's good, I'll definately spread the word.

Update:

A second reading.  It's actually kinda cool.  There's some real interesting stuff about the process.  I liked it a lot more the 2nd go around.

Thanks for posting this one BigBarry!  Smile

Please do.

I actually was convinced by BigBarry to give this a shot.  Seems silly of me not to try a new product and give my own review.

So count me in Johnny.  Smile

Well I will do an update then......

I am starting my 7th week of Kre-Alkalyn and this is how I would sum it up so far.

1)First 2 or 3 weeks I had to pee like crazy all the time, like ALL the time. Everything setteled down after about the 3rd week.

2)I got into my 3rd week before I started to notice any difference. I have noticed a better pump, I believe from having a bit more in reserve when cranking out that last rep or two. The weight I am lifting is rising at a very steady and predictable pace, and I do credit the creatine for helping with that.
In 2 more weeks I will stop taking kre alaklyn for at least two weeks and then I will be able to tell how much it has helped. I think it will be a subtle difference, but a difference.

3)My muscles also do not feel as hard as they did before using this product.

4)Very convienient, pill form, so just wash it down with water. Nothing to mix just like a vitamin.
I have not noticed any side effects other than the washroom thing for the first 3 weeks. It sounds to me like most creatines does that to you.

I did purchace my second bottle so I think it is worth the $35 Canadian price, If it were $50+ a bottle I would not have purchaced a second bottle. Diet is 95% of this game, knowing what and when to eat is the #1 thing to figure out before ever touching creatine IMO. Like my buddy Veg says...... EAT AND EAT BIG....... Creatine is like just 3-4%. I would take glutamine or whey over creatine anyday.

Please keep in mind I am also living the bodybuilder lifestyle, no junk food, workout religiously, rest whenever I can, and I train hard & 105% everytime. Yes everytime

Latest update, I stopped taking the kre-alkalyn about 5-6 weeks ago because I got sick with a cold and could not workout for a couple weeks.
I was not overly impressed with this being my first cycle ever of any type of creatine, I was expecting more from it. I didnt notice much, if any difference in my workouts once I stopped taking it.

So where am I now with my sups? Well let me tell you.......
I came across some creatine mono in powder form that was on special, so I thought I would try creatine again and I am currently in the loading phase. It is completely odorless and has absolutely no taste at all. I mix it with 250ml (8oz) of water only.

I can say already what a difference. Now I feel the difference!! Cranking out that last 1,2,3 reps is incredible.
IMO, Kre-Alkalyn is not worth the $$$$ compared to creatine mono.
