If you check out Dragondoor's website, you can find them there. Spri I think has them as well. I got mine at a Fitness convention for a $1 a pound. If you can find a place like that (check out this website http://www.jesupgym.com/ ) you'll find something in line w/ what you want. Starting off w/ 20 25 lbs ok for form, but if you are a strong guy, you'll easily progress to something heavier. CAUTION, get well-educated on proper technique. It's not about "throwing" a weight around. It's a hell of a posterior core training workout! Phew! : )
I will never be done learning.... ACSM cert. Personal Trainer Long term goal: Maintain 13% Currently: 9.5%

the typical male starting KB weight is obviously dependent on the person however a solid choice would be 35lbs. dragon door.com has a ton of exercises and such and some KB as well. they ar every expensive from that site. i would suggest wateman.com. their KB are price roughly 1.79 per lbs while many others are into the $2 area. swings are your base exercise to learn and master.

what did you end up getting regarding the weight of your bell? have you used KB before? some of the movement will take a little practice to master. I use kettlebells weekly and love them. there are some exercises that will make your forearm sore until done properly due to the position of the bell. if you have any other questions regarding KB let me know.

Wayne, i use KB very frequently. if you need any assistance just let me know. if you are new to them i will warn you that it will take a little practice to master the movements. Your forearm will be sore but once you master those movement (snatches and cleans) you will be fine.

what i meant by forearms was not your grip strength. typically you hold the KB so that the bell rests on your forearm. look it up and youll see. the movements require a rotation of the kettle bell that ultimately will bring the bell resting on your forearm. if proper techinque is not used it will bash into your forearm causing discomfort.
