Keeping the weight on - Friday, October 23, 2009 9:46 PM ( #1 )
Hey Guys,

I started actually eating right for the first time in my life 7 weeks ago. I had been working out on and off for years but never been serious about nutrition. I hate food and eating and had been eating 800 to 1500 calories a day pretty much since i was a kid.

Anyway, 7 weeks ago I was 142 and I just weighed in tonight at 169. When I started this I was thinking I would love to be 175 in a year.

I am trying to be realistic about the weight I have gained and how much is actually lean muscle. I really don't think much is fat, if any is fat. You can see progress pics in my training journal.

How much of this weight is just water weight? Also, I have been taking 5g of creatine, twice a day, and am curious; will the weight fall off if I go off the creatine?

if he quits taking creatine?? yes it will lol.  If creatine affects you at all then stopping it will cause some weight loss.  Keep in mind im not saying muscle loss.

i just came off of creatine and I gained weight, but just because of my program and diet.  first time I took it I lost a good bit of weight when i stopped, when i came off it for a short 2 months of on it a year ago i didn't lose much either but i didnt gain much either cause i took one of those stupid ethyl ester kinds that work like crap.
