Hi guys,


I am starting the Scivation CHA 1800 calorie cut diet OFFICIALLY tomorrow by Scivation. Will post all current measurements tomorrow. Just to give an indication I have lost about 9 lbs and about 4.5 inches in my waist since 1/12/2009. As for now, only my current waist and quad measurements are listed. I had dropped down to 1500 calories last week along with 35 minutes cardio everyday heart rate 130-150 daily (2 days HIT on non-workout days as recommended in the program) and my measurements didn't move (although I did have a rather big cheat meal like a dummy!) and my weight went down to 172 from 175. Maybe I went too low on my calories and it stopped my progress and I need to up the calories to get my metabolism back in gear? I have been following a 3 day training split which hits upper body twice and lower body once weekly, then reverses to lower body twice weekly upper body once weekly. It is more of a powerlifting/bodybuilding hybrid routine. Anyways, onto the diet which I have a few questions about.

1. Is diet soft drink ok?
2. Is zero calorie butter ok?
3. I've heard alot of bad things about splenda over the years so I bought a product made from pure sucralose called "quicksweet". It's said to be completely calorie free and not to cause insulin spikes. Anyone know anything on this?
4. I know this question gets old, but could someone give me a rough guess at my bodyfat? I am ordering digital calipers and lost my others months ago. I am 6 ft, 172 lbs with 32 inch waist relaxed and 23 inch quads.

Bottom line is I have decided to start this thread so I will have somewhere to post my daily results and get encouragement from this wonderful board!


My current diet and supplements are listed below please feel free to make suggestions! Btw, I need to find a good fat burner!

Scivation Xtend
AST Multi-vitamin
Scivation CLA
Scivation whey (when needed to substitute)

Breakfast

3/4 cup egg whites
1/4 cup fat free shredded cheese
1 slice turkey bacon
5 tsp Smuckers Natural peanut butter

Meal #2
8 scoops Xtend
4 tsp Smuckers Natural peanut butter
1 cup green beans
1 serving blueberries

Meal #3

3/4 cup egg whites
1/4 cup fat free shredded cheese
1 slice turkey bacon
5 tsp Smuckers Natural peanut butter

Meal #4
2 servings Great Value Beef Jerky (140 calories, 30 grams protein)
5 tsp Smuckers Natural peanut butter
1 serving blueberries


Meal #5
6 oz. grilled chicken breast
4 tsp Smuckers Natural peanut butter or almonds equal to 2 servings fat.


Meal #6
6 oz. lean meat
2 fat servings of almonds


Current waist measurement - 32
quads - 23 (neither have moved in 2 weeks)

Everything went fine today.  No workout today.  Workout tomorrow :)
