Hello, welcome to Justincredible's bodybuilding journal! Age: 16 Weight: 155 lbs. Height: 5"10 maybe 5"11 Goal: I would like to gain 10 lbs. of lean mass by September without comprimising my cut up look. Current Supplement Stack: Multivitamin Optimum 100% Whey Protein BSN NO-Xplode BSN Cellmass I've been lifting for a few months now. But for the past few weeks I've been serious about bodybuilding. I would like to gain 10 lbs. of lean mass by September. It's a pretty reasonable goal. To accomodate my new goal, I've made some changes to my training split. New Training Split: Sunday: Chest Biceps Abs Monday: Quads Hamstrings Tuesday: Off Wednesday: Shoulders Traps Thursday: Triceps Abs Calves Friday: Back Saturday: Off Feel free to make any comments and/or suggestions.

Starting a journal is certainly a step in the right direction. Take some photos of yourself now (you dont have to post it here if you dont want to). Itll be good to see yourself before you started your quest for 10lbs and how much youre physique has improved when you do reach your goal. It will certainly motivate you during your next bulk cycle. Good luck. Train hard, smart & safe.

Sunday, July 3, 2005: Chest, Biceps, Abs I just started my new training program today. I damn near hurled in the gym today. After ever set I found myself staring at the trash can. I trained my chest and biceps with all of the intensity that I could muster. Shortly thereafter I said to myself, "F**k my abs." So needless to say, I'm off to a bad start. A little while ago I ordered some more NO-Xplode and Cellmass. I also ordered a jug of Prolab N-Large 2 (weight gainer). Hopefully tomorrow's training will go alot smoother than today's.

Monday, July 4, 2005: Quads, Hamstrings Once again, I damn near hurled in the gym today, but atleast this time I was able to finish my workout. I've narrowed down the cause of my nausea to one of either two things, or a combination of both. 1) I recently increased my dosage of NO-Xplode from 2 scoops to 3. Perhaps my body can't handle the extra scoop. 2) That I'm not meeting my caloric needs. I'll revert back down to 2 scoops of NO-Xplode and hopefully the problem won't persist.

Maybe you're taking it too close to when you work out and its not getting enough time to settle in your stomach?

Maybe. I take it 25-30 minutes before my workout. We'll see how things go on Wednesday.

Wednesday, July 6, 2005: Shoulders, Traps Today's training went pretty good. To correct my nausea problem I drank about 1/2 gallon of water before even stepping a foot in the gym. I trained hard and I feel good. Last night I ordered an i-pod mini. It cost me $200.00. I am now broke. I bought it hoping that the music would help me train harder and maintain my intensity in the gym.

Thursday, July 7, 2005: Triceps, Abs, Calves I was really short on time today, so I only trained my triceps. I'll train my abs tomorrow along with my back training. When I was doing skull crushers I forgot to put the clips on the EZ bar. The weights fell off and I looked pretty stupid. And there was this fine ass girl there too, though she was probably like 8 years older than me. Either way, I was embarassed. I was disappointed that my supplements and my i-pod mini didn't come in the mail today. Hopefully they'll be here tomorrow, otherwise I'll have to wait until Monday.

Friday, July 8, 2005: Back Training went well. I couldn't have expected much better. My i-pod mini came in today. It was a good change from the music that they play at LA Fitness. My supplements didn't come in today. I'm not sure if I have enough Cellmass to last me until Monday. Oh well, nothing I can do. I bought some softgel multivitamins today. They have alot more antioxidants than the regular multivitamins.

Sunday, July 10, 2005: Chest, Biceps Today it felt like my biceps were going to explode. I could barely scrub myself in the shower because I couldn't control my arms very well. It turns out that my supplements won't be coming in the mail until next week (I'm pissed!). So I'm going to swing by my favorite supplement shop (not GNC!) and pick up some Muscle Milk to hold me over. It will be good for a change.

Friday, July 15, 2005: Back My back is really starting to fill out. I would say that it's the best part of my physique. My supplements came in yesterday. I was pretty happy. I'm going to finish off my jug of Muscle Milk, and on Sunday I'll resume my supplementation with NO-Xplode and Cellmass. Yesterday I tried N-Large 2. It tastes alright, we'll see if I get fat or not! I'll be sure to post a review on it. Like my new avatar?

I've decided to work my chest and my shoulders twice a week, that way I'll get that bad ass looking physique. Overtraining has never been an issue for me. I heal faster than Wolverine himself. Sunday: Chest Shoulders Monday: Quads Hamstrings Tuesday: Biceps Abs Wednesday: Chest Shoulders Traps Thursday: Triceps Abs Friday: Back Saturday: Off

Does anyone think that my journal is boring? I try to spice it up as much as possible with the bold font and all. Just curious. I resumed my supplementation with NO-Xplode and Cellmass today. The new flavors that I got are pretty good. I also started my new split today. I won't be able to tell how good it's working for another week or so. I've been trying my best to increase my mind/body connection while I'm lifting. You think Jessica Alba will go out with me if I get buff enough? Na, jk, I'm already buff enough to catch her eye. I'm hot, she's hot, imagine how our kids would look!

Today was leg day. My legs are starting to look like small tree trunks. I went relatively light today. I was trying to focus on my form and my mind/body connection, to do that I had to sacrifice weight. Here's what I did today: Squats: 4 sets x 8 reps x 205 lbs. Leg Extentions: 3 sets x 10 reps x * Leg Press: 4 sets x 9 reps x 280 lbs. Lying Leg Curls: 4 sets x 9 reps x * * I forgot how much weight I was doing on the machines. I usually put the pin somewhere in the middle of the stack of bricks. Wanna hear the funniest thing ever? Last night my cell phone rang. I looked at the caller ID before I picked it up. It said "Grandma's Cell Phone". I said to myself "Why is Grandma calling from downstairs?" So I picked it up and said "Grandma?" She replied "Sorry, I didn't know that you were on the line." Old people and technology don't mix well.

Here's what I did: Barbell Curl: 3 sets x 10 reps x 65 lbs. Reverse Barbell Curl: 3 sets x 10 reps x 45 lbs. Concentration Curl: 3 sets x 10 reps x 25 lbs. Bent Over Concentration Curl: 3 sets x 10 reps x 30 lbs. Alternating Dumbell Curls (standing): 3 sets x 10 reps x 30 lbs. Incline Dumbell Curls: 3 sets x 9 reps x 30 lbs. Double Bicep Cable Curls: 3 sets x 9 reps x ?

This girl at the gym with the worlds best butt keeps on distracting me. Today I was doing lat pulldowns and I came realize that my eyes kept on wandering over in her direction. I'm a sucker for beautiful girls. But I need to stay focused on my training.

Goal Status: Achieved! A little over a month ago, I weighed myself before my workout. The scale said 155. Today it said 165. Not all of my gains were muscle though. I put on a little bit of excess fat, but not much. Even though I did it with 3 and 1/2 weeks to spare, it's about damn time. I'm so tired of eating so much! Todays Training Leg Extentions 4 sets x 10 reps x ? Squats 10 reps x 135, 3 sets x 10 reps x 185 lbs, 10 reps x 225 Leg Press 10 reps x 180 lbs, 10 reps x 270, 10 reps x 360, 8 reps x 450 Seated Leg Curl 4 sets x 10 reps x ? Lying Leg Curl 4 sets x 10 reps x ? ? - I can never seem to remember the weights on brick excercises. Thanks to everyone who either followed or replied to my journal.
