I'm only 14 yet I've started my interest in BodyBuilding. Now, I'm not on about serious, enormous weight lifting, just enough to get quite a decent amount of muscle. I'd say I've been doing it on and off for a year, not really proper and not to a routine. My right bicep and tricep is pretty big, yet my left isn't...any ideas? Also, how often should I work out? Is 3 times a week okay? Finally, my diet. Is it ok having a Sandwich with say a choclate bar, some fruit after a cooked meal? Thanks, Rick.

ORIGINAL: trublu I'd say I've been doing it on and off for a year, not really proper and not to a routine. My right bicep and tricep is pretty big, yet my left isn't...any ideas? Well just make sure you're working them out in equal amounts, so if you are doing dumbell bicep curls and your left arm fails, don't keep working your right arm. Also try not to favor one arm when masturbating . Eventually they'll even out. quote:
ORIGINAL: trublu Also, how often should I work out? Is 3 times a week okay? For your goals 3 days a week will do fine, you can increase days if you really get into it. For these 3 days make sure you don't do full body workouts, instead divide it up so that you work 2 muscle groups on each day. Have a look at some training routines on these boards to see how we do it. quote:
ORIGINAL: trublu Finally, my diet. Is it ok having a Sandwich with say a choclate bar, some fruit after a cooked meal? I quit eating chocolates and pop for the most part but treating yourself to some junk food every now and then isn't a huge deal. Just make sure you're getting plenty of protein, carbs and other nutrients. The fruit is fine. quote:
ORIGINAL: trublu Thanks, Rick. Good luck!
