Lol, well, I weight lift 3 times a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. But my girlfriend does track, and over the summer, she asked if I could jog with her twice a week. Is that a bad idea for me?

As long as it is not right before you lift and not for an hour it should be fine.

Cardio will be helping your gym sessions. Never turn down cardio when you have an easy way to do it...I'd love to run with my wife !
