Well I am here anytime, for any questions. The book itself has some diet and training samples and is too big to be able to email to anyone so the only other idea I have is to go to a coffee shop and try to access through there, bring a CD and burn it to the cd so you can look at it on any pc. With 4 months to I would suggest to see your pics, then I can tell you what your plan should be. - Planning and goal setting is first: which show, what date, what category, see their site, rules info, and plan for what suits, shoes, dream tan, hair etc you need and price it all out. Travel and hotel if needed, parking fees, supplements for 4 months.......tanning, studio time if you are doing routine, music.......you name it.
- Figure out a theme if you are doing fitness or bb or figure with routine. Theme is music, look of costume, colors, style of suit snd shoes may be dictated by the rules of the contest so again as mentioned, that is first.
- Plan your workouts in a monthly outline addressing your weakness's and needs and how you can address them in proper order toward your show, and in 4mths there is only so much you can do for certain issues and only so long you can work on them, with a 4 mth time you are looking at starting a tapering diet down to show and planning it out weekly, with gradual drop in carbs, already starting clean but lowering cals and carbs along the way, then carb up and planning the week before, although many times things are adjusted and changed as you go along........look at me, look at my jorunal, injuries changed my plans a bit in and training etc. You cannot build too much so bulking has to be off season, at this point you are pre season going to on season so your training has to be intense, longer in time, focusing on shaping, toning and leaning. Depending on how you look now.............affects the exact amount of what you should be doing with cardio or weights, sets, reps, time etc. I do suggest 1.5-2 hours per day 5-6 days per week and tanning every 2-3 days.
- Near the last months you practice walking, posing, confidence, stance. Use a vid cam.
- Plan for paying for photos and dvd of the show, that is not cheap, also some charge drug test fees. Prepare yourself with a list and schedule, make sure you know where places are ahead of time, go there ahead of time if they are in driving distance so you can plan your drive, parking etc.
- Be prepared to have to do a lot of this alone. prep, dream tan...........you may have help but never count on it incase you find yourself having to do things yourself, this way you won't freak and can deal with it.
- list your supplies to pack for show, foods etc.
Off hand this is all I can think of but I am sure I must of missed some stuff and I am sure it will come up in questions. I suggest you post your journey here in a journal so I can follow along as can others to support you and help you along the way!! There is an online journal section here and I have one too, called Fitness Figure 07 or something like that. It may give you an idea of what I was laying out in this post if you see the plan someone else has, of course you will probably have different needs but it may help. Linda
