Hey everyone,

Just a quick post to ask weather my routine is any good. By the way, im 15 yrs old, quite skinny, very active with sports including soccer, climbing, karate and cycling and do not intend to change what i eat as i think i already have a good healthy and balanced diet)

Im planning to do this routine every night and use 5lb bumbells however i also have 2.5lb and 10lb if there better??? Okay, on with the routine:

Biceps-
20 Dumbell Curls
20 Hammer Curls

Triceps-
20 Kick backs

Chest-
20 Flat Bench Bumbell presses

Shoulders-
20 Overhead dumbell presses

Back-
20 Dumbell rows

Legs-
20 Dumbell lunges

Other-
30 Squat thrusts
30 press ups
30 sit ups
50 Star Jumps
5 Chin ups (I can't do these to save my life, but might start to do more as they get easier)

Basically i need someone to advise me as to weather this is a good routine for my age to start a foundation for future workout WITHOUT damaging my body or growth.

Thank you in advance!!

That'll be great considering your age. If the 10lbers aren't enough weight do some bodyweight exercises. (pullups, pushups, etc.)

You can also do weighed squat, i think that is the single handedly  most important leg excersize there is to date.  Just told the weights(10 pounds) on your traps and squat.

its not a stupid question, your trap muscle is the muscle on top yof your shoulder next to your next, if you still dont understand http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/trapbig.jpg-     look at the upper trap.  And that where it is.

Yes that a perfectly fine way to do squats with dbs, but i was talking about where you hold them with your hands and rest it on your traps.  But dont worry, that way is just fine.

Okay, thanks, ill include weighed squats in my routine. I’m also aware that i should warm up before i actually start to work out. I was thinking of doing:

2 Minutes running on spot
50 Star jumps
30 Squat thrusts
And loads of stretches all over

Do u think this is enough??

lol, my friend is doing the same thing.  His parents and him, are going on a 3 week cruise on their boat to block island.  He packed away 200 pounds of db's in a gym bag, lol made me laugh.  But in his situtaion i would do the same exact thing.
