Because im 15 and i took it for about 3 weeks, been working out about a month now. i dont think it actually helped me gain muscle THAT much, but i didnt feel near as sore which was awesome. Weight, 108 Bench-140-max Deadlift-200 Squat-225 (almost killed me, as did the deadlift)

it should be fine as long as you drink alot of water..bro you have some unique stats you are 15 5'6" and 108 lb.? and your squat is higher than your deadlift =D you have good stregnth for your size but it seems like you should definitly go on a bulk..and not feeling sore as long is a major reason people use creatine.

you do realize that there is creatine in the food you eat right? more specifically MEAT. i think you'll be fine with using creatine. just remember that you're putting extra creatine into your body, and that it could have some detrimental effects unless you take certain actions. mainly this.. just drink lots and lots and LOTS of water. not drinking enough could lead to it crystallizing in your kidneys.. which means kidney stones or other things that would be painful. i highly doubt this would happen, and it would take a LONG time of neglect on the "not drinking enough water" part.. not trying to scare you. go for it, just drink plenty of water, and you'll be fine.

i have heard that when you take creatine now it will detereorate your muscle when your an older age and will lead to some bone issues i may be wrong but i would rather stick to natural body building because the slower you gain muscle the longer it last and the stronger you become

define "natural" body building. creatine IS natural. it's in the food you eat. the body processes it ALL the time... so what's more natural than that?

Thats ok though. There is nothing wrong with taking creatine. It has 0 side effects(as long as you use the proper amount and hydrate) and it will help your muscles. There are very few (none that I can think of) bad things that come from taking creatine. To the origional poster, I think that you would be fine with taking it. As I said there's nothing bad about taking it. but like you said you didn't notice that much. which is par for the course if your diet isn't good. So you're pretty much going to be throwing your money away. If you get yuor diet down you'll notice a little more. So I would suggest getting your diet and then start to supplement.

To be honest, aside from leg lifts(shudder), squats and deadlifts are my least favorite exercises.

squats and deadlifts are the best.my new favorite is calf raises..if you didn't know i feel like i accomplished something using heavy weights haha.but the problem with calve raises i can't really do my max weight cause i can't get that much weight off the rack..haven't gone above 225..

I'll be honest; I first started taking creatine when I was 16 and it worked very well. Bench skyrocketed within 3 months, squat jumped almost instantly, when I deadlifted I added weight like no tomorrow. Creatine works, no doubt, but be wise with it. I used to carry aount gallon containers of water to ensure hydration. Creatine is your friend, but it can easily become your worst enemy.

Creatine is not bad, it helps you as you noticed yourself you don't feel sore just as long anymore, meaning there is progress. But unless you don't get enough proper nutrients in your diet or food your eating then ye go ahead and take it, but as mentioned already make sure you control the amount you intake for each day so you don't go over and have surplus just floating in your body.
Its not what you know, its what you can do that counts! Age: 18 Height: 5' 7" Weight: 162 lb Current Status: Strength Training (Max-OT)

Maybe you should look at creatine more as something that will replenish and repair your muscles, allowing you to workout more, Its in meat, but theres no way you can afford to eat that much chicken or steak. You should be fine, I just ordered Creatine now, for the first time.
