Is have 2 eggs a day too much?

For the past couple of weeks i've been eating 2 eggs per day, wether its for breakfast or lunch. Cholesterol is probably the issue here, so i was wondering how much is enough? Inspired by the "How much canned tuna is sade?" thread.

You can get the egg substitute. It has all the protein without the cholesterol, or at least very little. If you have an Aldi's near-by get theirs, it tastes great is made from real eggs and is less expensive than the name brand. Or, you can make your own. The easiest way is to get a dozen eggs and separate the yokes from 11 of them saving the whites. Add the 12th egg completely and blend it all up. Store them in something you can pour from and you have a low-fat low-cholesterol egg substitute. Use cooking spray and a non-stick skillet and they eat all you want. Of coarse, you can really only make them scrambled or hard fried this way, but it is only 1/12 the fat and cholesterol.

Honestly I was surprised when I read the thread title, being worried about 2 eggs is funny.

Well im currently cutting, thats why i asked. But it looks like even with cutting, i shouldn't be worried at all. And good advice designer, but id rather have the whole egg than just the white.

Just an option if you are concerned about fat and cholesterol. I too prefer the whole egg but when cutting I try to use the substitute as it helps save a few calories.

True, that is another option and a certain level of fat is necessary.

Yup, I'm not those type of people who almost starve themselves with their obsession of calculating calorie intake per day while on a cut. I'd rather get more fat and nutrients in and burn it off than just watching my calories very specifically and sit on my ass. Plus, i love food.

I try not to starve myself either when cutting but keep my calorie intake well under the break-even point as extra cardio is not always an option due to work schedule, and age. Bear in mind that I am somewhat over the average age for this website so all those years of drinking, improper eating, etc has caught up with me. Perhaps for you fat and cholesterol is not an issue, but for me, and many other people it is.

I don't think egg whites contain much cholesterol. The yolk does.
