never saw this when i joined. i'm derek, i'm 20. been lifting for 8 years but never really did more than bench curls and crunches. never changed up the routine. so that's why i'm not huge, but i am generally stronger than a lot of guys. i joined here to learn more. i've set out a 1 year goal week by week schedule based on full body workout and ways to change up the routines. i have about 7 bench programs i'll be doing, each 5-6 weeks. i'm very excited about the results i'll see. i want to gain muscle weight and bulk up more by eating a whole lot, and get my bench up. currently 175lbs, benching 250.
1 rep max: 260 lbs Goal: 300 lbs Been lifting for 9 years, still going

Whats up boys, and girls. Im Anthony, 18,, 6 foot, and a broke college student. Ive been lifting to improve in highschool football since 9th grade, now that im inn college I really have some extra time to get myself stronger and to hopefully pack some more muscle on. My biggest gain was my 10th grade summer to my 11 grade summer where i was able to move from 149lbs to 173lbs. Im currently stuck at 176-181 depending on flux. Im just lookin for some tips and help so I can get bigger. My goal is to be at 195 or greater in under a year and a half.

Hey all, my names Kyle and im from Leicester, England. Im 21 years old and feel that i have a decent knowledge on training/routines etc the one thin i am hopeless at though is nutrition and supplements. Im in desperate need on nutritional advice as id like to be a big bigger. Im around 5 10" and 75KG which is around 165lbs i think?? If anyone has a nutritional plan i would be so greatfull. My last body stat was around 14% BF and calorie expenditure with no activity was near the 2000 mark.

My name is Luke....and I'm an Alcoholic. LOL, just kidding. Seriously, I'm Luke (as I said), I'm 21, I'm currently a meezly 6'3 180lbs and I seriously want to get up to 220lbs in the next 2-3 years. I'll admit, it's been awhile since I've hit the weights, but I'm ready to take advice, learn, and set realistic expectations for myself.

Im paul im 17 im 5'10" about 165 i was at 175 but had to get down to 150 for wrestling which was stupid because all i did was lose muscle since i had no fat. I'm back to 165 and 8-9%body fat. These are my stats from last year Bench: 240lbs Squat: 420lbs deadlift: 550lbs Incline Bench: 185lbs I really want to bulk up i dont like looking small. My biceps are 13.5" and my forearms are 9". I'd really like to get up to 200-210lbs for football next year. Last year i went from 150lbs to 175lbs in 4months of heavy lifting 5days a week 1-2hrs a day.

Im Colby, 19 years old. 5'11" around 190 lbs. Currently playing football at Cumberland University (small school in Tennessee) on a full ride where I'm a Sophomore. Tryin' to build more muscle and get shredded by the summer time or atleast next football season around August. Played football all through High School so been lifting pretty heavy the last 6 years of my life. Put on a "freshman 30" goin from 165 to 195 tryin to shred it up now. Love the site, guess I should've posted here first but I really appreciate the guys helping out on this site.

Hey, I'm Jake, from Australia in Victoria. I'm 16 years old. close to 17 im 2 metres tall give or take, im not that built i have a bit of fat here and there. i weigh roughly 90kgs give or take. my arms arent that big. i can do 100reps of 12.5kgs and then swap but my left arm was in an accident so i cant do as many. i would like to know what i can do to get my arms roughly big enough to suit my body size etc, they are way to thin atm. i have sussed out protein from my doctor he said to use a weight gain one for a while then use both. i eat alot of red meat, fish, chicken and turkey, i want to start basketball as i am rather tall for my age. i dont go to school instead i have an apprenticeship doing panel beating/spray painting. worst job ever but 3 more years and im done. i like alcohol even know it eats away atyour muscle as some people have told me. i havent stopped growing yet. the doctor said im good for atleast 1-2 more growth spurts, so hoping to reach roughly 205 ish. lets hope. If i dont make it in basketball i will hopefully make it in football. thanks Jake.

Hey all. My name's Mike, I'm 23 years old and 5'7" and 165 lbs. I work out usually 4 times a week (weights, punching bag, and sprints), and I'm joining the forum so I can learn how to maximize my workouts and learn some new techniques. I've been doing the same workout routine for 5 months now, and finally reached my goal the other day of doing flat bench with 100 lb dumbbells for three sets. I realized my gains slowed in the past 6-8 weeks though, and I know i need to give my workout routine an overhaul. I came here so I can learn new exercises and more about nutrition. I look forward to learning a lot from the people on these boards. -Mike

Hi guys, Im new to DB. Im a 43 y/o FF/PM, powerlifter for the past 7 years, and have competed 4 times and placed 5th each time at the viking open powerlifting meet. Im currently inrolled in HAPKIDO and i really enjoy it. The cardio part is kick ass. Im looking foward to hearing from you guys. I want to improve my endurance, become more solid , learn about eating clean-well i have a good ideal about that already :) its the midnight snaking is what kills me. Bottom line i want to be in the best shape ever as i go on this train of life and age. I think i look good and i feel good but i want more. U hear me! So that being said, let's do this. Im willing for open suggestions , person that know what there talking about. One thing I do know, it's training smarter as you get older- I admit i dont always do that. you get into the zone and you what happen. We all be there. So, thanks for allowing me to be hear. reggie.

Hi I am no spring chicken but I feel like one, lol. I have always been very athletic and lead a fit life style. Something happened in my life and I started to get chunky even though I did weights and aerobics. Worked out twice a day. Every day. I lately found out I also have hypothyroidism. Slow thyroid. It succksss. But I have it under control and am getting a blood test every 5 weeks. I am taking levoxyl because synthroid wasn't doing squat for me. I really want to be a female body builder and I will do anything and everything to achieve my goals. Does anyone have any pointers? I do have a nice muscle base. arms and legs. My big problem was my mid section but I went through lypo/radio sculpting for 6 weeks and I am good as new. I need to see some results to feel encouraged. If I don't see any thing happening no matter how long and how hard I workout I sort of get sad and feel like throwing in the towel. I don't give up how ever I am a taurus a stubborn Polack too, lol. Please someone help. I am not just some dodo, I really mean it. I want this more than anything, I will do it at ANY cost. Help. Grace (aka Tall Sxy "Muscle" Gazelle the gorgeous musle yet to come...lol) [image]local://20951/0FB2C6C82CCC41C98D968630FBE3F4D2.jpg[/image]

Hi All. I'm 32, 6ft and weigh about 195. Have been the gym on and off a few times over the years but i am now trying to get into it for real. I have one grown up kid and triplets age 3. I try to get the gym 4 times a week and work all body parts at least once. Been going now for about 5 months with the below results( i know, not very good, YET!) Bench BB = 145lbs Squat = 285lbs I'm taking - 2/3 protein shakes a day, Bcca tabs, Glut tabs and was on NO-xplode but found that the effects wear off after the first half dozen hits. Any advice would be great from ALL
