 Increasing Bulk, retaining speed

Increasing Bulk, retaining speed - Tuesday, June 20, 2006 11:00 AM
I have to get bigger for football, but I really need to retain/increase my speed. Do I have to sacrifice one for the other? Also could you recoment any exersise for each? (I play DE TE) and I'm 6,1 180 lbs. Thanks!

what i did was just stepped it up in the cardio department

trian your legs, do more squats, youl gain weight, and become faster

keeping yourself flexable is the key and I have heard that your power movements will improve your sprint times and vertical jump
 
you can also look into running with resistance......pulling a sled or running in water

weight:190lbs.
BF:unsure, but the six pack don't show anymore!
