 In what order to you guys do your parts?

In what order to you guys do your parts? - Monday, June 25, 2007 6:33 PM
I've been doing mine like this:
Monday - Chest
Tuesday - Arms
Wednesday - Back
Thursday - Shoulders
Friday - Legs


But the past 2 times I've done my chest(including tonight), I haven't been able to do much more weight, if any. I'm guessing its just because I'm always more tired on monday. On other days during the week, I can go up a pretty considerable amount on all of my other body parts... What should I do about this?

Your chest muscles are tiny in relation to your legs....

Your back muscles are larger than your chest muscles (or at least they should be)....

and....you shouldn't split routines into bodyparts....

true didnt really think about it that way some examples are upper body lower body push pull legs front back etc

what do you think split routines are based on?
Age: 17
Height:5'11
Weight:178lbs
Max Bench:265lbs
13 1/2" unflexed
15 1/2" arms flexed

Goals:
180lbs
Max bench:300 lbs
17"arms

You should make your split based muscle groups that work together in compound exercises. For example, a push day, pull day, etc. Don't have an arms day and a chest day. Have a chest+triceps day (they work together in things like bench). Have a back+biceps day (they work together in bent over rows, pull-ups...) Etc.

 j heft has got it right on  aka, something like the way mines set up, you use alot of pulls for back, and chest is alot of pushes, with bis you use alot of pulls, with triceps alot of pushes.

My routine is like this:
 
Monday: Chest/Abs
Tuesday: Quads
Wednesday: Back/Abs
Thursday: Shoulders
Friday: Hamstrings/Calves/Abs
Saturday: Arms
Sunday: Rest
 
Seems to be working well for me.
Currently Using:

 Well I usually have people do my parts for me.  I guess if you wanted you could pay someone to show you how to do it.
