I know next to noone reads the equipment forum way down here at the bottom, but I'm gonna ask anyway.

I'm going to be in the market for a power rack soon and want to solicit recommendations. I'll want to be able to add dip bars and pull-up attachments. Having the option of adding cable attachments/pulldown later would be nice. I already have Olympic weights, so I'd prefer to not have those included with the rack, as that would be a waste of money.

For the bench, I would be willing to get it with the rack or separately. I'd want incline and decline as well as attachments for doing hamstring curls and such.

What sort of price range should I be looking at to get something solid that fits my needs? What brands? Should I go with mail-order or try to get something locally?

Hi,
There are many different brands of power racks that you can buy online.

Try York Barbell's Power Rack if you have white home gym equipment

Another brand you could use if your equipment is gray is the BodyCraft Power Rack

Let me know if you have any questions about either of these racks.

Amazon has this rack, which is $349, and I have Amazon prime, so shipping is free. Has anyone used this rack?

Have you looked in the classifieds, especially Cragslist? That`s where I get everything. Do I have to bring up again that I bought a Body Solid power rack with a lat pulldown (altogether list price is ~750) for $85. Don`t listen to what Jeremy has to offer. His equipment is overpriced!

I did end up getting the Powertec rack from Amazon, because it was a close fit to my needs and the space I had, plus the free shipping was a pretty big bonus for something that heavy.
