I am 15 years old, about 130 pounds but I look really skinny. I'm about 5'8 to 6 feet tall. I have worked out before from when i was about 12-13. I lost my motivation because I wasnt gaining much muscle. So I have gone off an on, on workouts since then. I started again right now and I really want to gain some serious body mass getting ready for football in half a year. So I have 6 months on my hands to gain some mass. Is it possible to get some real results? Another thing is that you see all these other guys in school my age that are much more muscular which makes me kind of jealous. I know I cant take supplements like Nitrix or NoXplode and stuff like that. I am going for NitroTech protein as of right now, is there better protein shakes? And I know I have to start eating 5-6 meals a day and drink a lot of water. Another thing is, I dont know what kind of workout I should do to both gain muscle in appearence and notice strength. I do about 4 reps of 10 each time. My current weekly earnings are around $100 so I'm not rich, I cant afford the most expensive things

thanks, any help on nutrition? I dont eat chips or anything like that but my usual meal is like a bowl of soup, maybe an egg on the side or like mashed potatos with some chicken breast or something.

I'm going to shamelessly plug Optimum Anabolics yet again. I have put on 15 pounds of lean mass in the past fourteen weeks with less than a pound of fat. If you want strength, Max-OT sounds like a good plan. However, if you want muscle take my route.

So I have 6 months on my hands to gain some mass. Rule number one- Don't think like this. Is it possible to gain mass in that time? Yes, absolutely- If you're eating right, training hard and resting enough, you will notice improvement, maybe even a nice amount of improvement in that time period. BUT- For the best results, it takes time. Don't approach gaining muscle as a time period thing, think about it as a lifestyle change. We've had people come here asking for help because they want to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain time, or gain a certain amount of muscle by a certain time- While setting goals is an excellent way to motivate yourself and keep track of your progress, you have to be careful not to get too involved in them- Some people, if they're not seeing the results they want in the time frame they've set for themselves, might be inclined to give it up- So besides having a six month goal, also keep this in mind- How are you going to look two years from now?
