In the first 7 months i would wouk out every day, now i work out every other day. i weight 165 lbs. im 5''11 and im 20 yrs. old. in the morning i eat a banana and for lunch i eat 4 oz of chicken along with 4 oz of mixed vegtables. and around 6 pm i began my work out for nearly 2 to 3 hours. Befor my wourk out i drink no-xplode and after my work out i drink my protein. I started at a weight of 185 lbs. now im at 165 lbs. This is basically my diet. Is what im doing any good or bad for tone and muscles building ?

Read this: http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/m_111175/mpage_1/tm.htm and this: http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/Help/m_221844/tm.htm and check out my signature. All of the above contain very valuable information of losing body fat and building muscle. Post back here with any questions you have about the information provided and we'll be more then happy to help you. Right off the bat, you're workouts are too long and you don't eat enough. What's your BF%? With that diet of yours ... you probably lost some muscle when you went from 185 to 165

You basically told us nothing, post your exact diet and training program in detail. Also if you are inn the gym for 2-3 hours lifting you are either doing way too much or resting between sets way too much.

Thanks No. Are you following a plan? The more important info is what excersises your doing, how many times a week, how many sets, and how many reps ... the weight is not important that much. Also, we need to know what you eat on an average day, in detail. Tell us every glass of milk, every snickers bar, every shake, tell it all. For your workout, tell us what you do on an average week ... everything from the muscle group you work on which days, what exercise you choose for that muscle, how many reps, how many sets, etc. edit: Read the links I posted, then you wouldn't be asking these questions

You need to eat every three hours your awake. Each meal should consist of lean protein, fibrous carb, starchy carb. An ideal meal could be something like ... 4oz Chicken Breast, Celery, and Brown Rice. You're not eating enough. Read the threads I've posted.

I think if you click the links I posted and spend 30 minutes or so looking at the content, then you can post here the improvements you've made to your daily meals in addition to your workout plan. Dan and several other helped lay the foundation, it's up to you to build the house and we're more then willing to help you in building it

Fix your signature. Unless you meant golry instead of glory. You really need to post what exercises you are doing and the sets and reps you are training with. We don't need to know the weight, other than it be enough to stimulate YOUR muscles, we all have different abilities, and it is not a competition.

ORIGINAL: Richard so i just screwed myself up then ? Doesn't matter, the past is the past. The question really is, what are you doing now to correct the mistakes you've made in the past No one is ever "screwed", but you'll need to work hard to reach your goal (w/e that may be)
