Whats the big deal of emphasizing the golden post-workout hour where you need to rush all your simple carbs immediately when you can just fill up your glycogen later in the week whenever you want with a refeed day?

Because CDK is manipulating your hormone production in a very specific way... this manipulates your metabolism, your glycogen stores and more specifically the way you metabolize the foods you eat.

Your body will not process foods the same way when you got back to a regular well rounded diet... there for the stratagy is different for simalar effects. (another reason I don't like this diet for the nutirtionaly uniformed)

It all has to do with partitioning, which would take a few pages to explain. Reading and understanding how this diets works is a must before starting one.
