You can get low-fat or non-fat milk to reduce the amount of fat you get from it, but all milk has quite a bit of sugar. For some people, the sugar inhibits fat loss.

Fat free milk is an excellent source of protein.. I would not suggest cutting milk out of your diet... Instead, I would look for other alternatives to cut.. One or two 8oz glasses of fat free milk per day is healthy..With only 80 cals per serving and 8g of protein.. Hard to arugue a good reason to not consume it... It seems we often get caught up in cutting and bulking and looking ripped...when in the end.. health is the main factor we all should be considering.. I'm sure if you dig hard enough.. you can find other, less healthy items to cut out of your diet.. Keep the milk!.. Milk is good!

read the label, tell me the carb grams vs the protein grams...........you will see it is higher in carb than protein so if you want an excellent source of protein or calcium, there are better choices in general........milk is a pleasure food, not a NEED, we never did need cow milk or animal milk, just moms milk for about 3 mths then you can live just fine never having milk again........its a thing you use because of taste and enjoyment......not a requirment. I use millk occasinally, off and pre season, but otherwise its just a carb to me and one which can keep you from having a nice tight body if you consume too much. Kale, brocoli and others veggies actually have more calcium which is better absorbed and protein in milk is not that high compred to the carbs. So if you are just trying to lean a bit it won't hurt too much but won't help, but for serious cutting, no dairy. Linda

I drink full-fat milk Id say drink as much as you can Yup and there are exceptions of course in everything, although in a few years lets see if that skinny trend keeps up, I have trained many ectos gone fat...............from years of eating whatever and thinking they would never gain............basically, in genreal, ask anyone who will give advice about cutting, they all cut dairy and suggest to cut dairy but again there are exceptions................although if this guys posting was not having an issue with milk he would not be here posting to seek leanness...............obviously its not working for him. Now whether he tries diet without to see how it goes, is up to him. Linda

I drink at least half a gallon of organic reduced fat milk everyday. Organic milk has 70% more Omega3 fatty acids(good stuff). For me the muscle gains far outweigh the fatgains.

As I told you before, avoid it while cutting.

i drink milk all the time, skim milk and dry milk. its not that bad. the dry milk has even less of everything but the protein is still high. try that. u still get some nutrients and not as much sugar.

I don't drink milk or eat other deary products because the human body can't assimilate the milk proteins. The milk that cammed from other animal species is very hard to assimilate, for a human the goats milk is the easiest to assimilate.
