Hi I'm new to the forums and here's my deal. I'm 5'9 190 that is not muscle I'm really just fat. so lately I went on a diet and been pretty sucessful iv'e lost about 10 lbs. in 5 weeks. Ive been lifting during this time in an effort to try and maintain lean muscle. my question is once I get to my target weight and decide to start bulking am I going to get fat again. I know you have to increase your caloric intake to build muscle so if I do so am I going go back to square one a chubby chump who can't get girls. please help!!!!

You'll gain a little fat, but you can control how much. If you bulk for short periods, then cut, you'll only gain a little bit of fat each time. Also, if you bulk slowly and carefully, you can minimize your fat gains. I just started bulking recently, for instance, and I decided I didn't want to gain more than an inch on my waist during the bulk. So I'm measuring every week, and if it starts getting close to an inch added, I'll start cutting.

Like... I want to bulk, but I'm afraid of gaining weight. I want to smash my head into the wall but I don't want it to hurt.. It's gonna happen.

Lord they are hot though, don't touch, I advise. But you are burned, and penalised, of course overdramatise and you get the prize. I am that boy baby girl and now I will end your 9 lives.

yeah... obviously! lol~ I thought thats the whole point of bulking... I think what they're trying to say is: I wanna gain lean muscle mass, and not add body fat... that makes a whole lot sense...

Well basically the answer to his question is yes and no. You are going to gain as much as you let yourself. There are plenty of people who still run or jog while bulking to keep fat gains at a minimum (i am one of those people). Some people believe that bulking is a time to forget about any kind of planned diet and get as big as possible, because they know they have the will-power to cut and look 100000 times better than any other person. So it depends on willpower/motivation. It's personal preference, you are as fat as you want to be.
