I need some feedback

Hope everyone is doing well. I wanted some feedback on the following... on Friday my wife and I found out that she was pregnant, just a couple of weeks in. We are in the process of arranging her first doctor appointment. People have told her that she shouldn´t train for the first 3 months as it is bad for the baby... I had actually thought of having her do a total body workout couple of days a week with low weight.. but the comment got to me as I don´t know how true that is. Any mothers in here that can clear this up for me. She has always train so her fitness level is fine. We currently finished Macdow´s 5X5.

Congratulations lightning5!!!!!!!!!! I looked over the link Chalky palms provided, and it is congruent and on par with everything else I have read on pregnancy and weight lifting (I did some serious checking for a friend of mine a year or two ago). So what is posted there is pretty correct as far as I am concerned.
