I need one half a cable. - Tuesday, August 05, 2003 2:34 PM ( #1 )
You know what im talking about? No? ok, well ill try harder then. I need 1 " lat tower" with a cable at the top and bottom to compliment my already pre-existing cable fixture so we can some cable flies... Geez this is hard... well if any of you know of something that i could use go for it... i took some pics of my gym set up...

That second pic looks a lot like the rack I have-
As far as the cable question, it' s hard to make out what you' re asking here- If you want something to do cable flies with, I don' t recommend trying to rig something up yourself- I tried to improvise a standing calf raise machine once, and I swear I nearly broke a shoulder. The best thing for cable flies is a cable fly machine.

cpl is on da money. I' d say for cable flyes.. forgo them and do freeweight dumbbell flyes.

But I think you are looking for a cable for a lat attachment. If the manufacture does not provide such, unless you are a welder or have a buddy who can, I wouldn' t recommend doing it. Could lead to a situation similar to what cpl described.
