I worked out yesterday night, and when I went to bed last night, I couldn't sleep. If I get a lot of sleep tonight, will I be okay then?

No, getting only 4 hours of sleep is fatal. It's best to get a full night's sleep every night, but life doesn't always work out that way of course. You can make up sleep to a degree, so getting a few extra hours tonight will help. If working out late in the evening disrupts your sleep though, definitely try to avoid that in the future and get your workout done earlier. Just be glad that you get poor sleep infrequently enough to be worried about it.

agreed...as long as you dont make it a routine of getting 4 hours of sleep (or any low amount), you should rebound fine and be able to make it up...theres a degree of flexibilty with sleep, at least i feel that way...one crappy night every once and ahwile will be fine, just make sure the other days are good amounts of sleep...ive had a few 4 hours nights and personally, it didnt effect me negatively cause i was able to make it up and take it easy the following day

You can't catch up on sleep because it takes a while to get into/through certain stages of sleep. I'm not saying a nap or an extra hour to your normal amount of sleep tonight WOULDN'T help, but in the future try to get as much as sleep as possible!
