Hows this bench & rack look? - Friday, April 10, 2009 3:28 PM ( #1 )
Given that I'm not lifting huge amounts of weight, for $168, this looks like it can't be beat.  Any thoughts?

Does it look alright for beginnger - intermediate work?  I wouldn't even assemble the preacher curl & leg extension attachments....

yea it looks good ... has spotters ... you can remove the bench and do squats or what ever ....

but if you do have the room ... and a couple hundred more ... you are better off buying a power rack .... you can do so much more ... and its safe ....

yeah my bud has this one he just started lifting and its good. But when you start benching 200 + and squating 200+ the hole thing get really unstable.

For the money it looks good. Keep in mind that many wives make their husbands give up their nice equipment and tons of weights for cheap on craigslist. I see power racks with 400+ pounds of weight for like 300$ all the time.

I own the Weider XRS 20 and I really like it.  Can get wobbly at times with over 300 lbs.  but it is a really solid bench so far.  The squats are nice too.
