While this may seem a bit " unconventional" it tends to work in gyms like 24hr where there' s just too many people hanging around the bench you need or the piece of equipment.

(clear throat)

Let one go. Actually let a few go. Smile

I know.. sick.. disgusting.. nasty.. you pig.. [:' (]

But.. people will be crying Smile and they will vacate. Thus, freeing up the equipment.

As I said, it' s unconventional. Luckily for me, I have a gym that isn' t crowded so I' ve not used this technique for a few years.

I could have used that technique last night! I ended up waiting for 15 minutes for the bench press to free up. Very unconventional but might work.

Hmmm.... interesting. Smile

I' ve done something like that before. When I went to use a bench two other people tried to get on it at the same time. I said " Let' s work in with one another." They agreed.

I then grabbed 15lb dumbells and started to do flys... counting 12 seconds pushing up, and 12 seconds letting down. Did about 30 reps (I told them I love to warm up slowly). Needless to say, they found another bench before I could finish. Smile

Then I jumped up to my normal weight.

Oh, and this might work too. Try putting a BRUTE Cologne on your workout towel before you go into the gym. Lay your towel down next to anything you want to use... no one will go near it! When you are ready to work on that equipment, put your towel somewhere else.
