You wouldn't want to take the NOX after a workout, that's kind of defeating the purpose...It gives you a boost FOR your workout. Take it 30 minutes before you work and you should notice significant energy rise, which should equal more intensity and strength during the routine. You could take some creatine right after the workout to volumize the muscle cells. As far as the whey, three times a day is fine. I don't take mine too close to working out, because the NOX says on the label that it's to be taken on an empty stomach.
