Well at my current job now I'm the only person that works out, and am by far the biggest person there, so nobody gives me shxt about my walking.

The house is coming along.  I've been doing some work on it on the weekend here and there - new doors, redoing bathrooms/kitchen, modernizing everything, etc.... it's coming along pretty damn nicely!

i've always walked with my shoulders slouched forward but have recently tried to stop becuse i here it's bad posture and can give problems later in life.

That's what happens to MOST people. Their internal rotators tighten up and their external rotators get long and weak from sitting and slouching forward a lot of the day, and as a result, all your body and posture leans that way.

Solution? Stretch internal rotators (Pecs, Lats) and strengthen external rotators (Rhomboids, Lower Traps, Subscapularis), how to strengthen these muscles? - With rowing movements focus on squeezing the rep at the top of the movement before bringing it back down, focus on that squeeze, it should be the most important part of a row/chin-up/pull-up.

I love you Wyrms. Excellent elaboration. That's why I stress barbell rowing on here so much and many people don't feel they're necessary, I just can't seem to agree with that. I think they and vertical pulling (whether it be chins or pulls) are very important for the efficiency of the rotator cuff.

Not fluent, but I know it well enough to survive in a Spanish speaking country.

try going to see a podiatrist. i used to have problems walking too. i used to walk like a duck with my toes pointed outward. after awhile it was painful to walk. i went to see a podiatrist and it watched how i walked and then measured something (not really sure what) and determined that i needed orthotics. i then had my feet cast and they made these plastic orthotics that go in my shoes. i have been walking properly ever since and my legs and back don't hurt anymore.
