How should legs look like? - Monday, June 30, 2008 2:24 PM ( #1 )
Hey I was wondering about the quads a bit.

My actual quads they look ripped when i flex but when they're relaxed  they dont look muscular at all, it just looks like normal legs ... should it be normal or should it actually look muscular at all time?

when i check ronnie's squat videos i can definately see his quads have 4 mountains while completely relaxed (i know he steroids but still..)

thanks for answering, not sure if i'm clear, just lemme know.

That is such a general question...

If you want your legs to look larger when relaxed you should build them. If you want them to look cut relaxed you should cut bodyfat. If you like them the way they are then that's fine too. It's really about what you want.

Yea i know it sounds really general, my bad.

It's cause for a while i've been watching the UFC and when the guys get into the octogon and some dude grabs the other on the ground, the shorts kinda go up (no homo, just makin sure) and the quads looks like mine, just a big slab of meat, nothing special. As soon as they start working with the legs they look ripped as hell. I've noticed it with the dudes in the UFC and the dudes in my football team... pretty much everywhere so i wanted to know. but hey thanks for the reallly fast answer, much appreciated :P

Those guys are training for performance. They don't give a damn what their legs look like in the mirror. If you want legs like a fighter, take jui jitsu.

Word, I know what your talking about. They train purely for strength, so the could give a flying phuck about rips. But, If you want your rips to show not flexed, lower you body fat below 10%. Maybe even to 7 or 8.
