SpartaWrestler I am 18 and 159 pounds with 10% body fat, my question is if I maintain a strict diet and exercise program how long will it take to get to 6-7% bf? Depends on how hard you work at it. Diet/lifting/cardio. If you sit there It could take 30 years.

There is no answer for this question. There are too many variables.

Marc David Easy math... here's the link. You should be able to figure it out easily with all the information you've got. How Long Will It Take to Lose Weight? Marc I have a question about that formula... Say someone is 200lbs and 20% bodyfat, their goal is to be 10% bodyfat. Would subtracting the goal bodyfat from the current bodyfat - 20% - 10% = 10% Then subtracting that from the current weight be an easier formula? Example... 200lbs - 10% = 20lbs lost = 200lbs - 20lbs = 180lbs?

I think it's 2 different things MVP. The formula above is taking into account your current weight along with your body fat reduction to give you an ideal weight at that body comp goal.

Ah, ok- Because I used the formula I just listed in order to find the weight I'll need to cut to be under 10% bodyfat- I wanted to make sure it'd be effective
