Im still gonna take a ****load of time off, but just for when I start back up. Ive taken up to 3 weeks off the first time it got injured and coming back, all it took was one rep and it was reaggravated.

You might want to look into getting an old / loose pair of squat briefs.  If you know any powerlifters, this might not be too hard to come by.  Maybe try using box squats instead of regular for a while, that dip into the hole might be aggravating your hips, as well.  Don't use too wide a stance, even if bringing it in requires that you not quite hit parallel.  Squatting a couple inches high is better than no squatting at all.
