How am I doing? - Tuesday, August 15, 2006 2:22 PM ( #1 )
I took these pics today, so it is exactly what I look like right now.  My goals are to gain muscle and I would like to get to 180 lbs. of very lean mass.  I am currently at 165, and it's lean enuff just not big enuff.  Any critiquing is wanted and any tips would be helpful too.  I am also changing my routine as of today, cuz I haven't gained in over 8 months!  Yeah I know that's bad.  So, critique away.

very lean dude good job, now that u got that part down, i think its time to put some meat on 'dem bones. EAT EAT EAT anything that isn't bolted to the floor.

you got it :)  i do believe the reason the rest of your body looks so good is because of mainly your core.  Your quads / abs look incredible!!  Lower back could be a bit better but it looks good. 
 
Areas that i see that could use some work:
 
Traps  Chest  Triceps Lats
 
 
You are going to look awsome at 180 lbs  you might have to go past that though....  like you might have to get to 190 - 195 lbs  and then cut down to 180 lbs  to look the way that you do now at 180lbs.  it shouldnt be too hard for ya. 
 
What does your routine look like?  Diet?

Youre looking really lean and great definition. Get on Max OT! Eat right and youll see results in a few weeks!
I was in the exact same position as you are, i was going to the gym every day for 8 months and i wasnt gaining a pound, and thats when i found out about Max OT.. now im up 4 pounds and down in BF% in 5 weeks

My current plan that I'm about to change was obtained from the Milos DVD set. 
 
Routine 1:  Chest,Delts,Tri's Approx. 45-50 minutes
Flat Bar Bench
Standing In-Front Military Press
Overhead Extensions with triceps bar
Decline Dumbell Butterfly
Seated Lat Raises
One-arm Dumbell Kickbacks
Incline Dumbell Bench Press
Bent Over Seated Reverse Flyes
Bench Dips
 
Routine 2:  Back,Bi's,Forearms,Traps  45-50 mins
Lat Pulldown
Concentration Curls
Wrist Curl
Good Morning
One-arm Preacher curls
Wrist Extensions
One arm Dumbell Row
Barbell Curl
Wrist Rollup
Dumbell Shrugs
 
Routine 3:  Legs, Abs  35-40 mins
Leg Ext.
Leg Curls
Crunches
Calf Raises
Seated Bench Leg Raises
Dumbell Lunge
Bicycles
Squats
 
Routine 4: Day Off
 
then repeat
 
I do 3 sets of each exercise with enough weight where I can get no more than 15 reps per set, with an exception on the crunches and calf raises, each of which I get between 20 and 25 reps on.  Sadly, I have no set diet like all of you guys, and that prolly contributes greatly to my constantly growing plateau.  However, a few things are kept the same day to day......
 
 
ON whey protein as soon as I wake up
Leukix right before workout
Six Star Creatine right after workout
Glutamine with mid-day and last meals
ON whey protein drink right before bed
approx. 8 hours of sleep each night

BTW, I've been hearing a bunch of good things about that Max OT training, and I'm looking into as I type practically.  I do believe I'm gonna give it a try, and I'm gonna work on putting a diet plan together too.  Thanks for the tips and everything guys.

Doing good. Your in a similar situation to myself, if I ever get hold of a camera I got to take some pictures but I am alot like you right now.
 
Likewise, you need to make a choice, if you want more mass then eat more and slightly bulk diet, yes your abs will suffer but if you want more mass then thats the way, unless you take the bullets, which, I am considering because a 16 week cycle appeals to me more than a 6 month bulk then cut phase, although £350 where I am.
 
Personally once your ripped like that, I wouldn't want to hit a bulk phase but thats just my opinion.

Thanks.  I know....My chest is so weak and small.  Thanks on the quads.  I just started doing legs 2 weeks ago, but they were already ripped like that cuz I ride BMX.

everything is looking AWESOME!! keep it up! IF ANYTHING needed work I'd say your chest. it already looks good but I think thats the smallest. if you want to gain weight go to your local GNC or wherever you get ur supps.. even a grocery store might have it.. its called "weight gain" pretty self explanatory lol its a shake that adds a lot of calories to help gain. hope everyhting works out for u :)

Thanks Kyle.  I get my supps from Nature's Wonders, a locally owned nutrition store.  I will ask about that, is it expensive?

excellent excellent symmetry definition and size.

your only lacking in the chest, which is common in people with your build, but i'm sure you can bring it up...great job

Your definition is simply amazing. Its nice to see people your age who work legs. I remember when I was in hs I never saw anybody near a squat rack. Were you always cut before you started lifting? Keep up the great work.

I've been cut since I started riding BMX, 3 years ago.  I started lifting 1 year ago and put on 20 pounds, which made the cuts more obvious.  Thanks.

Wow, i posted this one two months ago roughly.  From January until October I didn't gain a pound, even with the tips i got on here.  Then at school on October 3 i believe, i told a dude bout my bad luck and he told me to stop all my supps cept protein and then go get some fish oil.  I was like ok, but only cuz nothing else seems to work, so i went and bought a 1 month supply of fish oil......6 pounds in two weeks, and still under 5% body fat!  I dunno how the heck it worked, but it did.  It must've slowed my metabolism or sumthing, but I still have mad abs and all my cuts, im just bigger and heavier.  Who'd a thought that a 3$ bottle of fish oil from walmart would help me break the barrier that 100s of dollars of supps would not?  I'll put some new pics up in a few weeks....i wanna gain another 5 or so, so that the size diff is very obvious.

Good thing i've been taking a fish oil cap with every protein shake :)

You look great, super ripped.  Keep gaining weight, eat big!  as acevcali said you will look good at 180, so you'll have to aim just past 180 and cut back to it.  I guess cutting is easy for you tho!
