Homemade Low-Carb Creatine?
-
Tuesday, February 22, 2005 3:32 PM
Does anyone have a recipe for a homemade low carb creatine stack. The ones at the store are 40+ dollars and I am already spending a bunch on other supplements. No joking please my test is up so I get agitated very easily. :P

Throw in 300mg Alpha Lipoic Acid with your creatine whenever you eat a carb meal. Bear in midn that if you're using steroids (which you have illuded to), creatine really isn't gonna make all that much difference in comparison.

Glucose/dextrose is a sugar. Do you mean "sugar" as in table sugar i.e. Sucrose?

Yes, dextrose is a sugar that is contained in Splenda. -- Splenda = Sucralose + Filler (Malto/Dextrose [oh, and the amount in one packet really is transient-- maybe 1,2 cals at the most]) --) Sucralose is a modified sugar (sucrose) molecule that becomes several hundred times sweeter than it was in its original form. As a result, only a minute amount of sucralose is used in Splenda (because it is so sweet), and the rest is filler. If I had to pick a sugar-substitute personally, I'd say Splenda is my artificial sweetener of choice. It's made from natural sugar, it ellicits only the most transient of insulin responses, and it has a nice sweet taste-- all in all, good stuff.
