Hilight + right click? - Monday, August 11, 2008 11:00 AM ( #1 )
So I usually spell check everything using word. Before I could always hilight everything and hit Ctrl+C and copy everything, paste it into word, correct my spelling and paste back in. Well I (out of habit) have highlighted and right clicked and it has deleted everything I had written twice now. I'm just wondering if its a bug or a security measure, either way its annoying I just spent over half an hour putting together a really long post (it wasn't that important) and I (clearly) wanted to say something.

Its just a bummer.

I'm not seeing that issue on my end using Firefox 3.0.1 on Vista.

What browser version and OS are you guys using? Let me know that and I'll submit a bug report to the developer and see what he has to say.

Can you find out the version of IE? It's usually on the "About IE" page using the navigation menus at the top of IE.

Okay it says: Version 6.0.2900.2180 (and some other text)

Is that enough?

Were you using the quick reply box?

The developer got back to me and I fixed some code. I tested with IE 7 and it no longer deleted the text. Can you guys confirm with your versions of IE?

Yes I was using the quick reply box, I'm also using Firefox though, and not IE.

Yea... it was an IE only bug. I never noticed it either using Firefox.
