So i like me some chicken while on the keto diet. However i dont find slathering each piece in mayo to be very tasty. i could take the alternate route by taking 1-2 shots of evoo but, that isnt very tasty either. Can someone recommend me a sauce(ketchup like consistency) that tastes good and is high in fat? (good fats) EDIT: Little to no carbs would be appreciated as well.

Sour cream + hot sauce = incredible.

You can saute with some mushrooms, olive oil, garlic some spice (thyme, oregano, parsley basil, what ever you got)... when chicken and mushrooms are done, and there are some little brown spots stuck to the bottom of the pan, add a little chicken stock, scrape up brown bits, let some of the stock evaporate out for a couple minutes, add smidge of butter, melt whisk in and heavy or light cream, allow sauce to return to simmer, and then serve... (only good thing about KETO is I can lie to myself and believe pan sauces like that are good for you, and the are to a degree... but certainly not every night)

Ill do that when i feel like having my chicken taste orgasmic. The sour cream and hot sauce one sounds quick and easy, but good. Thanks!

you can also throw like arguala in to the sauce right before you serve it... or steamed broccoli... or what ever veg you like that is low enough on the carb side that you like... makes it much more enjoyable, something else for the sauce to cling to.

Damn. But, even though hot sauce doesn't have a ketchup consistency, it is pretty good by itself.
