Will any of you ladies be competing close to Hot Springs Arkansas? I would love to come and watch. Oh, and I am going to lose a little bit more fat around my lower belly. Any suggestions on diet and exercise. Ice cream is a weakness of mine and I have swore it off for at least 3 weeks! I am 5'7" and weigh 153 pounds at present. I work out hard 6 days a week. upper body on tuesdays  thursdays and sundays.......lower body on mondays and saturdays and cardio on wenesday for now...........i do usually 8 to 10 sets of bench press 4 to 6 sets dumbbell ( gees i cant remember what it called< don has been trying to help me remember what each workout is called) guess i should write it down.Anyway im at the gym about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours each day sometimes more. Im going to get me a tablet and write it down.......but, please help me out on diet .........Im drinking high protien shakes for breakfast alot or boiled eggs, banana for a midday snack, and usually nuts with raisins right after my workout to hold me till dinner.........sometimes a boiled egg after my workout as well. I eat alot of fish and beef at dinner...........more later time has slipped away from me at this moment.............

Very good!  Figure is a refreshing liter change from Fitness, a tad less stress, even the Figure with routine requirements.
Best of luck!

Hi Linda,
I am not doing much cardio for now.........my left hip has been bothering me some and the treadmill seems to agrievate it.I am still doing 1 hour on the treadmill on wenesday, walking at intervals of 8 minutes at 3.7 at a grade of .5 and running 2 minutes at 7.1 at a grade of .5 doing this alternating until the last 5 minutes. Then I run a final minute at 8.1 for one minute and then get ready to cool down. After that, I do 20 minutes on the ellipitical alternating 1 minute at a slow pace and one minute at a fast pace increasing my resistance each four minutes up to a resistance of 7. I also do the elliptical  20 minutes at this pace on my lower body days, unless I am really tired.  I Get a little over 4 miles on the treadmill at this pace and the elliptical says over 3 miles, but we have two elliptical machines and the other one says differant miles for the same amount of resistance and pace, so Im not sure on it.............Thanks for any help..................Tam

Until your hip can tolerate more intensity then you can only progress that as fast as the hips allow.
