Hey everyone - Saturday, September 30, 2006 10:28 AM
Hey everyone,

I've just turned 16 and ive decided i wanted to start making some changes in my life. With my exam rapidly approaching in the next few months, i thought as i was making changes,i should start changing or building my body.I've wanted to for some time but found i couldn't fit it around my lifestyle.Because i've grown out of my old habits, i feel this is the perfect time to start.I read some topics on the site already and its nice to see people in the situation as me.I am not super skinny but i do lack a good body shape and boney in places. My aim is to build muscles all over my body but i dont know where to start.I noticed some people just post there height, age and the words build muscle quickly or something like that.I'm not looking for a quick fix coz there isnt such a thing haha.I dont use a gym but a new one has opened very near me.I do exerise, playing football(soccer) nearly everyday for a few hours at a time but i need to go to a gym to help me start building the body i want.I am a complete newbie at this and have no idea about routines or protein drinks or what to eat.I do relise i need to find out certain pieces of info so i can start this whole thing off

So any help to start off will be great

Mike

I've started to follow the suggestions on the diet from this topic.I still not sure whether to use these protein powders or whatever they are( HAHA remember im a newbie ) and where they will fit into a diet.Do i use the diet with the routine or start the diet first?

I guess next im gonna plan some kinda workout routine soon, something that wont involve weights because i cant get to a gym at the moment
