HOly Frick! 4000 kcals!! I'd be a moose! You must train hard off-season. I'm gaining weight right now and I'm trying to stay inbetween 1800 and 2200 kcals. I don't want to gain back all the weight I've lost for competition. I was not overweight, but I had jeans that I couldn't wear and some were too tight. SO, I'm trying to slowly gain enough to where my jeans are comfortable. Man...4000.... workin' your butt off though for that 4000, and going to good use! Dang.

Hey there Linda...I have read your articles on the other sites and I always learn something! I just found this forum here :) I am trying to put on some lean mass right now in my off season and I eat a lot too! I am tightening up a bit right now on the off chance I make the Arnold but if not, I will be working on gains for a couple more months! What show are you doing next?

Sounds great, I am sure the Arnold will be fun, competing or watching? I am competing in Aug but not sure, the actual date is not out, I am guestimating. I may do one sooner for Figure but not sure, I was hoping to do both at provincials but I only qualified for fitness and would need to do a figure in spring that is affiliated to tier up and then be able to do figure as well as the fitness in Aug. so if I do it would be spring for figure, summer for fitness, and then if I qualify, summer for a second show too depending on qualifying. If I do not do the spring figure, then it will be in Nov instead. and would do Nov as well if I don't get top 3 in the spring figure - if I do it...........make sense? Linda
