Tomorrow is the day! My new supplements are FINALLY coming in the mail, and let me tell you...it's on like Donkey Kong! I've skipped the last week in the gym due to a horrible bacterial infection...that's a cold for all of you preverted people! haha. I haven't been on any supplements for about a month and a half. Because I was going natural, I kind of lost motivation. Plus, seeing this one guy at the gym that I was like almost completely in love with (who rejected me after hooking up with me for a few months.lol) didn't give me much motivation either! So, my new supps will be here tomorrow, I'm over the boy drama, and I'm over being sick! I have 6 months before I deploy to the middle east and I want to be in the best shape possible BEFORE I leave for training! My goal was to compete in my first figure competition this June, however, this unexpected deployment kind of set things back for me. Although I have a few months before I leave, competing will have to wait until next season. My workout parter and I came up with a new routine just this evening that will hopefully leave BOTH of us satisfied with our results. She is still trying to gain mass, while I am at the point where I want to start cutting. We pretty much balance each other out as far as our workouts go, but she knows I hate it when she has that damn MP3 player on while I'm trying to get her to spot me! haha. Hey, whatever works best for her I guess, I'll just have to stop myself from throwing water bottles at her again! She wasn't too please with me last time! haha! So here we go! Tomorrow is day 1 of my cutting phase! I'll be sure to post some pics on here to show my progress. My diet doesn't really change much, but I'll have to cut out the pizza that I eat like every 3 weeks and those devilish little rootbeers from the chow hall on base! Sacrifices must be made in order to achieve success! SHUT UP AND LIFT!!!!!

Hey Chrissy, You were ready to cut for a figure comp? Then you had to do a little deploy...DANG! Start with some pics if you can. That is a real motivator---> to post BETTER pics! So then...are you changing gears to do a show next year....wait, why not just pick another show a little later...if you have the physique all ready and just need to cut! Get on stage now!!!! AF Base food...you need to watch out there! So what is your goal now? How about hitting us with your goal, current stats, current diet, overview of your next 8-weeks or so...you know, get us into your mindset!

Monday afternoon...I open my eyes after only a few hours of sleep from work the night before...and the first thought that came to mind was..."ARE MY SUPPLEMENTS IN THE MAIL TODAY???" I jumped out of bed faster than a 6yr old on Christmas morning! I threw on some warm clothes and shoes and ran downstairs to check my mail. Bill for my car payment...cell phone bill...credit card offer...BX circular...THERE IT WAS!!!! That little yellow notice that I've been waiting on for two weeks! I had a package waiting for me at the post office! I ran back upstairs to grab my keys and wallet, then off to the post office! Monday was the first day in over a week that I made it to the gym. Being sick took a lot out of me, but I wasn't about to let that hold me back! Brandi called to make sure I got my supps. She had just gotten hers also, so as soon as she hung up the phone with me, she was on her way over. ON LIKE DONKEY KONG! Monday was back and bi's. This was best workout I had had in over a month! It's amazing how much motivation I get from my supplements. I hate going all natural! Ugh! So we get there, and I'm completely focused. Brandi and I just looked at each other and KNEW!...smiles from both of us...we KNEW it was going to be a good gym day! Lat pulldowns: 3 sets 15 reps 50 lbs Standing DB curls: 3 sets 15 reps 12.5 lbs Seated cable rows: 15/50, 15/40, 15/40 Wide grip EZ bar curls: 3 sets 12 reps 25 lbs Back extensions: 3 sets 20 reps 75 lbs Narrow grip EZ bar curls: 3 sets 12 reps 25 lbs Dead lift machine: 3 sets 15 reps 25 lbs Inclined DB curls: 3 sets 12 reps 10 lbs Cardio: 10 minute stat. bike I hate lifting light, but I know it's what I have to do right now. I actually had an AWESOME confidence booster though! Some guy at the gym...some guy I had never seen before...short, awesome physique, probably in his late 30's, walks up to me and asks if I'm preparing for a show! I was completely flattered! Some guy that I don't even know, noticed that I have competing in mind! STOKED!!!! My hard work must be paying off! Tuesday was an awesome gym day also! Shoulders, calves and abs! Outward delt flies: 3 sets 15 reps 10 lbs Forward delt flies: 3 sets 15 reps 10 lbs Seated calf raises: 3 sets 20 reps 90 lbs (did some sets with toes pointed in and out to hit inner and outer calves too!) Overhead press: 3 sets 20 reps 35 lbs EZ bar shruggs: 3 sets 15 reps 25 lbs Leg press calf raises: 3 sets 20 reps 90 lbs Straight bar shruggs: 3 sets 15 reps 45 lbs (wide and narrow grip) 7 Minute abs: combo of 50 crunches, 25 elbow to knee holds, 25 leg lifts, 50 bicycles, 25 leg lifts Obliques: Obliques raises on hyperextension machine 2 sets 10 reps w/25lb plates Today, Wednesday, is my first off day for the week. It was nice to rest, but today was also the first day of my work cycle. Work always screws up my meal routine! I still get my calorie intake, but I find myself FORCING food down my throat. I hate feeling this full, but what can I do? My job is demanding! I can't just say "HEY! I have to take a break from patrolling tonight so I can get a meal and a shake in!" haha. It's just something I have to deal with! I ENVY those people out there who have 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week with nothing but desk work to do. It would make my life a hell of a lot easier, but thank goodness I have the drive to stay focused and consistent! So far today, I woke up and had 1 cup oatmeal w/ raisins at 3:30p.m., 3 cups of whole wheat pasta with light spaghetti sauce at about 6:00p.m., and a shake at 8:00p.m.. I still have SOOO much food left in my lunchbox that needs to be eaten! That's the only thing I hate about thermogenics...the decrease in my appetite. I'm still planning to take some pictures to show my progress, but I need Brandi to get off her A** and take them for me! lol. I DID consider still competing in 2007, but with this deployment coming up, I have a lot to do, with only a few months to get it done. Lots of out-processing appointments, 2 1/2 week long deployment training that I haven't gotten dates for yet, packing, getting bill payments set up, storage space, and trying to find something to do with my car while I'm gone. That's basically the biggest reason why I chose not to compete until 2008. Plus, I plan on having some surgery done as soon as I get back from my deployment. If I wait until 2008, I will have MORE than enough time to prepare. This will also give me more time to research what shows I want to do. I've been tasked for an AWESOME deployment to Qatar where I'll basically only be working, laying by the pool, and working out twice a day. I can't complain because I'm not going somewhere where I'll be getting shot at, but if I DO get to pop off a few rounds I'll be stoked!

HAH! There's no better feeling than having a competitive male bodybuilder walk into my room (a GIRL'S room to say the least!), look on the desk, and say..."What, are you opening a supplement store in here?" HAHAHA!
