I read your original post, haha.

Bowflex isn't that great for building muscle, correct me anyone if I'm wrong. A gym membership would be MUCH better. However, you need a good diet (caloric excess) and some other stuff, along with rest and sleep in addition to training. So every other day is best, especially for a beginner (which you sound like you are). Don't forget to work out out your legs and back as well.

Ideally, aim for 45-60 minute workouts.

I think I cleared up a good amount.

thats a example of one

post up your height , weight , age

so we can help you out on getting your diet in check pictures wouldnt hurt (promise noone will make fun of you no matter what)

diet is where you lose or gain weight its seriously 90% of the equesion

Don't follow that routine. It has more isos than compounds, haha. It needs some deadlifts, incline bench, rows, maybe dips, maybe pullups.

Behind the neck presses can also result in injury.

Smoundzou put up a simple, full-body routine for 3 days a week with HST principles. That could be a good one for you.

Can you deadlift on a bowflex? I don't think so...

then its time to start a stickied thread that has all the repeated information i see here day in and out.  About new people training with all different types of routines and stuff.  I know we already have some stickied like the HST 3 day routine but another general overview stickied in the training section with HST might be beneficial.

whats the worst it can do?  be ignored and having them ask more questions.  we would just link it to them then.

Well, joining a gym would be much more beneficial than a bowflex, and you CAN deadlift in a gym ;)

then you should link the thread to them.  but isnt the best of thread an older thread.  i see everyone throwing around new ideas now and suggesting them.  i think an updated one would work wonders.
