Help on pecs
-
Monday, September 06, 2004 10:34 PM
Alright, i'm just starting to acutally body build, you know weights and all, but i've been active in sports since I was seven, i'm fifteen now. I've been playing football since seven and I guess I got most of my muscle from the workouts there, but I was wondering.....the inside and the bottom of my right pec is bigger then the inside and the bottom of my left pec. Not by a lot, but enough to where it annoys the HELL out of me. The size of the upper and outer pecs are the same. I was just asking what could I do to isolate the inner and lower side of my left pec? Is the added muscle on my right pec from me being right handed and throwing right handed or something? Just wondering....Thanks to all that reply. Much appreciated.

hello and welcome. well, to start ild like to try to steer you away from isolating the inner part of one of your pecs... i think that could lead to more problems than it would fix reason being that if you try to isolate only that part or w/e you will get even more uneven in other areas... you may want to consider the possiblity that the problem is coming from u doing weight unevenly.. say you do bench press and your one arm goes up fast than the other, or they bar is skewed slightly... what i recommend doing, is do weight you KNOW you can do, and do it with perfect form. coming all the way down to your chest and pressing up with perfect mechanics. also, dumbbells is good isolation as well, so do some db bench press. then maybe some chest flies hope all this helps you in some way -Ty
