 Help on new supplement

Help on new supplement - Wednesday, January 02, 2008 5:12 AM
I just got a supplement with these per 100g
 
74g carbs
 
20g proteins(whey +soy)
 
2g fats
 
 
1.     Is it good.Also should I take it pre or post workout?
 
2.     How much of it should I take daily..
Please tell me in how many days i should finish it.I dont understand in terms of scoops or grams.
 
3.Also should I add creatine?

Are the carbohydrates in the product simple carbs or are they complex carbs? My guess is simple and if they are then you should use this as a post workout drink and maybe take some of it right before your workout in combination with some low gi carbs like oatmeal or something to give you a mix of long lasting energy and quick energy.  Its not really good to have fat in your post workout drink as this slows down the absorbtion of nutrients, (post workout you need fast absorbing  protein and carbs to kickstart recovery) so do not add anything else high in fat like peanut butter to your drink. I would mix it with skim milk post workout, which will add more protein and sugar to it.

As for how many days to finish it is really up to you.  If you only take it on workout days it will of course last longer than if you decide to maybe replace a meal a day with it. 

I would recommend creatine to anyone so yea add it into the drink.
