-
Thursday, February 01, 2007 8:09 PM
I'm about 5'9 210 lbs and I need to get to 130-160 lbs to play cornerback. It's my favorite position to play and my favorite player of all time plays it(Champ Bailey). I have no trouble on anything besides my weight (affects my speed and agility). I tried going on a diet and using good exercise (I do play football about 4 out of the 7 days of the week though)but it didn't work out to well I wasn't really motovated. I really want to get to my goal weight so I can play cornerback can you guys please give me some tips on how to keep up with a good diet and some corner drills to achive my goal ???

dieting is hard but just remember that the more you put into it, the more fat comes out. i ran a 5.29sec 40 yard sprint, during the following football season i improved to a 4.92sec 40 yard sprint. i would say get one some type of dieting supplement..but just using the supplment wont make you lose weight..you gota do work with it and i garentee it will work. Do lots of stiff legs and SQUATS!!! SQUATS!! and when your really tired, do some more squats. they wil help your virticle big time, im 5'6 and am one of longest, and highest jumpers on my team..hack squats are good too as well as leg presses.burn off the fat and gain a lil muscle and that also wil forsure speed you up. a dietary supplement i might suggest is hydroxicut. i took that for about a month or 2 and it gave me energy and kept hunger pains away. good luck with football
