sucking in your tummy doesnt work permanently, only when it remains tucked in situps will gain you ab muscle like exercise lets any muscle grow, it will let you lose a bit of fat, but the main fat burner is cardio (running, cycling that kinda thing) Manboobs-isnt nessecarily from being fat, it can be hormone driven, and will only go away after puberty (sometimes never goes) working out you can reduce it but theyl never be perfect while your hormones are still going haywire etc lol. I have no idea if 50 sit ups is alright or anything 8 packs perfect ab guide will help you 40 pushups in one go? or between sets of time? either way thats a fine number every day You havent said you want to-but if you wanna bodybuild and lose weight then gain a lot of muscle, you gotta do weights/go to a gym etc

and thats why you dont have running stamina-because you dont run I have a friend who used to be fffaaaattt to say the least lol and he started running He couldnt even make it down the end of his road without coughing up his guts basically but he stuck at it He now has a 32 inch waist Just go at your own pace and your stamina will pick up-unless you have a form of respiatory problem. I dont know a lot about abs...Im lucky to have an insanely low BF% and have abs without really working them apart from the odd 10 mins of simple ab work every day... My suggestion would be to PM 8pack or read his guide to perfect abs in the teenage bodybuilding section There are many exercises for the abs. If you want them to get real big i suggest doing crunches while holding weights, cable crunches are also REALLY difficult and will definately get them abs going-but cable crunches require a gym and no holding your belly in is i think just the diagphram under your ribs tucking everything in, which wont let you loose weight, it may however give you hiccoughs as the diaphram causes hiccoughs when it spasms lol. Anyway yeah thats all the knowledge i have when it comes to losing weight and ab work.

errr, usually you hold the weight with your hands and then do the situps as it makes more resistance making your abs do more work, there also is the type of ab work whereby you do indeed put a weight on your stomach, but you lay on your stomach on a bench, hold the weight to your waist or chest, and lower yourself and then higher yourself etc. Putting a weight on your stomach and doing normal sit-ups might help, i wouldnt think so though....

First of all dont even worry about a 6 pack yet, you need to lose weight and body fat before you can even see any type of pack. And you need to do tons of cardio and have a very healthy diet. Who cares if you have no stamina that isnt an excuse. Starting running your brains out forget about abs for a second and than when you lose enough weight hit up a gym lift weights and workout and get that pack. But lastly what does your diet look like?? post everything that you would eat in one day(DONT LIE)

You need to see a doctor on the boob problem. He can check your testosterone level and see what needs to be done. It's pretty normal in young men and to grow out of that but sometimes not. They may have to prescribe some Testosterone injections or patches for you to wear. That will stop the future growth of the breast but it won't decrease the size of what’s there most likely. I'm 55 years old and last year I noticed I was starting to develop some breast also. They were sore to touch to. I went to the doctor and they checked my testosterone level and it was 86 which is nearly nothing. I now take 200 mg/1 ML of Depot Testosterone injections weekly. I tried going 14 days between injections but that was not working. Then I went to 10 days but it seems that 7 days is the best time frame for me. I also tried the patches which worked but they are a real hassle plus they break out your skin. Anyway the shots of Testosterone got rid of the sore breast and stopped any further growth but it didn't reduce the size which in my case I got to it before it became very noticeable. I can really see the effects when lifting weights. I lifted weights for 2 years solid on a very regular schedule and hardly made any gains at all. I made better gains after just 3 months when I started taking the testosterone than after the full 2 years without it. Good thing about getting testosterone with a prescription is its dirt cheap compared to what people pay for it otherwise. I get a 10ML bottle of it for $86 bucks at my local drug store here in Atlanta. That'll last me 10 weeks. My medical insurance pays for the patches but not injections but at those prices I can afford to pay for it myself. Good luck to you. Al

ORIGINAL: sd4sym2002v Hi Guys, I really need to ask you all some questions, ok....Im 16yrs/height:169cm,weight:63kg, i have man boobs, and abit of belly fat. If it is......how long will it take for me to get abs? and ive been sucking in my tummy to get it flatter, will this work? how long will it take ? sorry guys....im new to all these body building thing....i hardly exercise :( Pls help me ... Welcome to DB! You have come to the right place. No you cannot lose fat around your stomach by doing crunches, or sucking your belly in. It will help in the build of strong abdominal muscles, however. You can have a very nice set of and still not see it because it is hidden under a layer of bodyfat. 50 crunches are also not nearly enough to even do that though, in a reasonable time. What you are talking about is an age old myth called spot-reduction, one that has been defunked time and time again. It simply does not exist. When you keep your diet in check, and do cardio..you are helping to burn off fat. Burning fat, happens universally throughout the body, meaning if you are on the treadmill..there are no magic forces telling the fat in a persons thighs to disappear. The fat accumulation throughout the entire body will decrease if this regimen is followed. There are a few things you will need to do to get started. It all seems like much as a newbie, but you willfind once you get into the swing of things, that not only will fitness become enjoyable for you, but it may even become habitual. 1. You will need to know your daily caloric intake. This is based on your age and current stats. You do not want to exceed this many calories a day. To help stay within your range, and boost your metabolism, eat six small healthy meals per day, and cut out sugary foods/drinks, and keep a healthy bowel with only whole grain breads and pastas. Drink LOTS of water as this will also help you to fill up faster..drink sparadically throughout the day so you dont end up going too LOW below your caloric intake..this is dangerous. (As drinking water in heapfuls will cause bloating and a feeling of fullness/decreased appetite) 2. Cardio. You said you dont have the stamina. That is absolutly normal. You will also find the same with weights when you are just beginning. Your muscles need to adapt to the demands you are placing on them through lifting weights. As they grow and become stronger, so will you, and your platload will gradually increase. This is also the same pattern that happens to your stamina with cardio. Cardio means you are working your CADIOVASCULAR SYSTEM. This is your heart and lungs. The more you do cardio, the healthier your heart. Your resting heart rate will lower, which will in turn, enable you to work out much longer and harder (gradually)..This is because your heart is infact a muscle, that will gain such endurance through proper training. You dont need to run right away. Start with a light jog, if you truly cannot feel you can do it. If you start feeling dizzy/nauseated, keep walking until your pulse slows down (your heart rate), and make a mental note to run slower next time. You will know when you have plateaued, and when you can increase your activity level. 3. Weights. There are many different exercises geared towards more shapely abs..not to mention that if you condition your entire body..almost 100 percent of the time, your abdominals will be engaged as stabilizing muscles, which will also help to sculpt and train them. Which is just one of the reasons why I suggest a full body workout instead of just abs. You will want to work in sets, and eventually add resistance to your ab routine though weights, or resistance cords. 50 situps alone is not nearly enough. If you browse though DB's routines/training forums you can get the gist of what worked for who, and also personalised fitness plans, and diet plans. Again, it all sounds like much..but you will love it once you acheive your results. Do not get discouraged.
