Help&Advice for Cutting and shedding that weight. - Friday, July 18, 2008 8:25 PM ( #1 )
Hello All, I am currently a senior in High School and I do play football. I have been lifting weights and working out seriously for 2 years, but began learning about weight lifting when i was younger. Im currently 6'2, 240lbs. I do have muscle mass, but i have little definition and you cant see my abs because i have a layer of fat all over. ( good ole football weight..) Anyway by the end of the season i would like to begin cutting weight, Id like to see myself slimmer and CUT. to the point where you can see my abs, and more muscle def. IM hoping you guys can lead me in the right direction, and im so torn between all the fat burning and weight loss supps. or even if i should take them. Plz help, :) thanks.

i take the fat loss supps, there working pretty good actually, but you still have to put a lot of work into it.

best way to cut is your diet. wat you put into your body , you will get out.

eat good food and eat well.

you want 6 meals a day, with most if not all your carbs in the morning. you dont want any carbs before bed and as least as possible towards the end of the day.

dont completely cut out fats. you need them. just cut out the bad ones. and stick to good ones like the ones in nuts, fish oils and avacados etc.

therefore meaning a lot of your cals is going to come from protein.

there are a few main diets you can try as well that a lot of people like to do on here, best one ive seen is the "keto" diet.

you dont neceserily have to do loads of cardio but i find it a massive help when cutting. but what you must make sure if you decide to keep the cals and do more cardio is that you dont do too much and make sure you do it after a workout, or seperate to a lift, aka in the morning on a empty stomach is best for cardio, it just burns fat. then you can lift after school. if not just do no more than 20mins after a lift or makesure its not too intence.

remember, diet is the key.
